The horrors of the desert

If you want to know what it all is like here on the BAD side, then keep reading.

 

 

Usually I explain the better side of the desert, but this time, here's the bad side:

 

REALLY hot during the day. I have to wear around 70 pounds of equipment, and all of that is on top of the 110 degree temperatures that beat down on us all here. We walk through the desert and hate it all.

 

 

Then at night, it gets freezing cold. We have night patrols and crap, and nothing keeps us from frostbite in the process. Usually, night patrols are away from my squad (morning and afternood patrols mainly) but when we do, I've always gotton frostbite on one part of my body.

 

The wide spread land here gets us lost countless times, using GPS doesn't help, and they put our base so far from cities. Supplies can be picked up from outposts, but those are spread around and hard to find.

 

Uhhh..... that's kind of it.
