Draykus
I posted this in the non SE Skyrim forums already bc I didn't know this existed... If I need to delete it since I have the SE version, just let me know. But... Hello and thank you to all that decide to take time out of your day to view this, For starters, I wanted to give a little background on myself before I get into what I'm wanting to do; since I'm new here. I am almost entirely new to modding. I'm taking classes, so I have somewhat of an understanding of the concepts and the amount of effort needed to be put into these kinds of projects. Personally, I've used the Unity engine to learn all of what I do know, but the CK doesn't seem terribly hard to navigate or work with; aside from its random crashes. I just need more practice and repeated usage with it before I can pro it. Haha. That will probably never happen. In my studies, I have gotten as far as blocked in level designing for one game and creating a few functional mechanics for that one and a few more games. Skyrim-wise, I have the SSE (PC) version, and I've made a few basic followers for myself, that I've had to remake a few times. I have Nifskope, Nifmerge, and TES5Snip downloaded, but I have, again, only used them at basic levels for the above things I mentioned. I am wanting to do this because I think it'll be a fun project to put together, to learn from, and because I've been itching to do something like this for a long time now. What I'm looking to do: I want to create a couple of followers that tie into a semi-extensive questline leading to a big baddie that the player needs to eventually defeat. Simple, like all my ideas, but like all my seemingly simple ideas, I know it's going to be a lot more complicated than I initially believe it to be. I am currently planning out the questline and find myself slightly snagged with the details of this Big Bad's background. I, in no way, want to break the immersion of this mod's implementation into the world of Skyrim, so I've scoured the internet of ES lore to learn as much as I can. And after all that research, I'm not sure if what I've come up with is a good placement for him (I have potentially two, actually). So, I'm asking you all of the Nexus community; If there are any ES lore buffs that can find holes that break the immersion of this mod, please listen to my story and help me find a way to make this concrete so I can progress deeper into this project. The best ways to reach me are:Email: [email protected]Discord: [ Chiaro Scuro ]#5344 (I appear offline most of the time for "reasons", so just message me anyway.) Or you can reply/PM me here (Yeah, I'm old school like that). I'm not on here as much, but I'll check it periodically. Thank you for listening to my selfish request. Side Note: I want to do as much of the work for this mod as I possibly can and would only seek guidance on how to accomplish my goals; except the female voice acting, but I'll look into that when the time comes. Credit will always be given for those who help regardless of the amount of contribution given. P.S: I'm cringing at all this "me talk"...
yzerman19
You might be looking for someone named Todd Howard. He is probably too busy working on some new games, though.
Draykus
Thanks for responding. If you would like to direct him to this post to see if he's interested or PM me his email or another form of contact info, I'd appreciate it. If not, then I'll just continue with what I already have and see how it turns out. I don't want to drag him off a project if it's taking up a lot of his available time over something possibly redundant.
