Ayanro
Who here has seen the Dark Knight? Who here thinks it would cool to wear that new suit as armor in the game? Maybe even a quest involving the Joker? I have no experience whatsoever with modding, but I really want to see a Batman mod made. I know I'll catch flack for Batman being a superhero and that not fitting in with the medieval setting, but I know it would be awesome. I think the recent movie would make an interesting quest, or even the first one as well. A vigilante who looks like a giant bat has been attacking skooma traders, thieves and corrupt guards in the Imperial City. He could even battle Scarecrow or the League of Shadows when they try and take over the city. Later the "Batman" has been helping the guard against crime, notably a captain who sports a mustache. Then a man with green hair, a pale face and a large smile starts causing anarchy and destruction in the city. What would be really cool aside from wearing the Batsuit would be access to a castle on a hill outside the Imperial City with a large cave underneath with training facilities, a personal butler and secret tunnels that connect to the city. Maybe even has access to items in the family business office. What would be really cool is if the Batsuit acts like a seperate identity when worn like the Grey Cowl, but does not cause the guards to attack on sight. All it does is cause fear in people you address.
macmert
I totally support this mod!! If it exists anyway :D There used to be some action figures of batman with different settings like batman of the future (The high tech suit Jean Paul has in Knightfall) or Batman of the east, two schimitars and an interesting eastern style suit, maybe a medieval batman could be made, with light armor and stuff... madman132
Batman has no Business in Oblivion, unless you like the TV Series from the sixties... The "Modern" Batman derived from the early 80s Comics, which was somewhat like the "Tim Burton" Batman, is a figure which dwells in Darkness. Not in the bright colorful World of Oblivion. A Batman Mod with the old Batman could be funny, but only if it had the "Sound-Words" which where build in in the old Series. You punch an Enemy and "Bam!" pops up, or "Pow" or something :D

BatmanBatgirl LHammonds That's what I'm talking about! The mask for Batgirl looks a lot like the Christian Bale one. Is that what you are going for? Are you planning on making an armored version of the suit? Batman has no Business in Oblivion, unless you like the TV Series from the sixties... The "Modern" Batman derived from the early 80s Comics, which was somewhat like the "Tim Burton" Batman, is a figure which dwells in Darkness. Not in the bright colorful World of Oblivion. A Batman Mod with the old Batman could be funny, but only if it had the "Sound-Words" which where build in in the old Series. You punch an Enemy and "Bam!" pops up, or "Pow" or something LOL. That would be awesome! Not meaning to argue, but wouldn't the Dark Brotherhood and possibly the Thieves Guild be considered Darkness? I would imagine someone playing as Batman would only walk around towns at night in the suit, and explore dark dungeons. I think other comic characters like Superman, Spider-Man and Daredevil have no business in Oblivion. Though it would at least be funny for a YouTube video seeing them walk around the Imperial City and NPC's reactions or something. Have you seen the Ghost Rider mod? That one is pretty sweet. you asked,so I'll answer. Interests me less than zero! Everyone has the right to their opinion, and that's fine by me. I totally support this mod!! Well, the nicknames of Batman are the "Dark Knight" and "Caped Crusader", which might hint at the creators wanting to portray Batman like a shadowy knight on a crusade against evil in Gotham. I think the two new suits from the Christian Bale movies echo medieval influence. http://screenrant.com/images/batsuit-comparison.jpg

LHammonds
10 million polys? Nope. Not usable in-game. Would need a low-poly version for the in-game model and this high-poly version could be used to create the normal map and textures. The face is remarkably like CB's face. I would prefer to implement the mask as a full head piece with the face set to CB's so no matter what you look like, you always look like CB when you put on the mask. ;) Part of the problem I had with the high-res mask I was using (besides UV Mapping problems) was trying to figure out how to get the face to "fit" well when using a helmet EGM. I was thinking it really needed to be a pre-set face to work well. LHammonds
