KDStudios
Howdy hey folks, Let's cut to the chase shall we?I'm building a new worldspace, there will be dead people walking. But I'm looking to add a slight twist to it.Putting a bunch of buildings everywhere is easy enough. But what about buildings that you can access without entering an interior cell? I've looked all over Fallout 3 and New Vegas nexus for every single modders resource possible to make this a reality. So far I have enough to make a nice small town, that and all the models already available in New Vegas. I'm now requesting assistance from the community. The worldspace isn't huge, but it will be an island. A very large island.I'm expanding upon it more and more as I complete buildings. It's a hobby that I intend on spending a lot of time on. Weeks/months being the realistic approach. Not to mention that it might never get finished too. As with all hobbies. Naturally I know I can't do this excessively. Due to the fact it will create unnecessary performance issues. But it adds to the atmosphere of the mod.Being able to loot buildings without seeing a loading screen is great for immersion. Not to mention when you see enemies walking in your direction you can just slip into a building until it's safe again. So I will be keeping the content to a minimum in the houses while perhaps adding basement interiors to add more areas to loot. I'm planning on making this a traditional island. With having it's "built up" areas, farmland, survivor camps, military camps/bases and even have the odd labs and power stations and with little villages dotted around.I'm not asking for help making it, just help finding content as I'm certain I can't have found it all. Can you guys remember how interesting it was to fight in an urban environment in Fallout 3 against the raiders? Or in the occasional events during New Vegas? So do you know of any models floating around that can assist me?Do you know of someone who could also make these models?Do you know of any mods/content that aren't house/trailer/building models but could add to the mod? Please post everything you know http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif Here's a small list of what I've found already, however I have a much larger list of mods that add content such as trailers(no interior), houses(no interior), shelves and all that good stuff to add a lot of flavour to the buildings :) (I'll post this as soon as I can find it, it's in a folder of an old (similar) project) Compact Crate Living by Tubalhttp://newvegas.nexu....com/mods/45964 Good Springs Bunker by Dazzarazzahttp://newvegas.nexu....com/mods/44808 RTS Mud Hut by ki ki kibblestickshttp://newvegas.nexu....com/mods/39829 Log Fort Resource by cpocurtishttp://fallout3.nexu....com/mods/13849 Bunkers Barricades and Shelters V2 by cpocurtishttp://fallout3.nexu....com/mods/13742 RE4 Pueblo Village by emerald2http://fallout3.nexu....com/mods/12411 Pulowski Bomb Shelters by MtBhttp://fallout3.nexu....com/mods/10834 City Design Kit by jcdenton2012http://newvegas.nexu....com/mods/40762 Craftsman Interior Construction Set REDONE by Briseahttp://newvegas.nexu....com/mods/40075 Jet Plane Private Learjet by Johnjohnstonhttp://newvegas.nexu....com/mods/38592 Remember, all content CAN be edited, via texture editing. So even if something doesn't fit visually. Perhaps a texture artist such as myself can make it so?
Carnatics
the best way to match interior exterior combinations would be to get chuck steel's fo3 interiors mod and look for the cells with clear windows from the inside cuz actualy this interiors with windows are exterior cells...just glitch via tfc or tcl through the walls of such an building to get a closer look... i would like to help you but i have almost no time...sitting on a own huge mod (huge for 1 person to build) but if you run into a problem just pm me and i try my best to support you... Nihilisaurus
and look for the cells with clear windows from the inside cuz actualy this interiors with windows are exterior cells...just glitch via tfc or tcl through the walls of such an building to get a closer look...No. They're a separate worldspace with a copy of the stuff youcan see from the windows in it. If you go out there you're not back in the street, you're in a small piece of street copied to give the appearance you can see out of the windows. Cyberlazy
I don't think they duplicate the worldspace, I think they use mininvworldspace and its a child to the nvworldspace and thats what gives it the 'world' without taking up all the space. chucksteel
I was talking about the glass windows cells I created for DCInterior not things the Dev's did.

rjhelms84
There is a way to duplicate worldspace in New Vegas. Just create a copy of your esp, and open up the new copy and change the worldspace ID name, and any IDs for named coordinate cells. Then open up both esps in TESnip, and copy the renamed worldspaces into the original esp.
