Setting up Vortex to keep previously-downloaded mods after computer refresh

I am in the process of getting ready to refresh my computer - clean reinstall of everything.

One thing I do NOT want to have to re-download is my 200+ mods for SSE. Here are my path settings in the Settings --> Mods tab in Vortex:

Base path: {USERDATA}\{GAME}

C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse

Download Path: M:\Backups\Other Backups\Vortex\SkyrimSE\Downloads

(M: drive is an always-connected NAS and will not change as a result of the computer refresh)

Install Path: {base}\mods

C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse\mods

Can I just install Vortex and set the same above settings and they will show up in my list of Mods on the Mods tab on the sidebar? (This is my sincere hope, as that will mean I will just have to start reinstalling the mods once I have SSE installed again) I'm assuming, with the mods staying on the NAS drive that installation of a mod will be a matter of it being moved from the Download Path to the Install Path and then deploying it.

UPDATE:

So, in a nutshell, the answer to my question, "Can I just install Vortex and set the same above settings and they will show up in my list of Mods on the Mods tab?" is, "Yes". However, when I was setting up the paths in the Settings --> Mods tab, there was a message next to the Apply button that said something about the target folder being empty - I think, something to that effect. So before hitting "Apply" I copied all of the mods from that directory to a temp directory, then hit Apply. When I did, it said the downloads directory needed to be empty. (Good thing I copied the mods over). So here are the steps that I took to keep my downloaded mods so I didn't have to re-download them:

  1. copied all mods to a temp folder (in retrospect, moving them from the downloads directory to the temp directory would eliminate a couple of the below steps)
  2. closed Vortex
  3. deleted the mods in the downloads directory (make sure you have them backed up in another folder first!)
  4. opened Vortex
  5. set the desired downloads directory
  6. closed Vortex again
  7. moved all of my mods back to the downloads directory
  8. opened Vortex and viola! All of my mods are listed in the Mods tab now!

I'm not sure if it's possible to retain installed mods using a method similar to this, but I'm re-installing everything anyway.

Hope this helps someone else!
