thousande
Hi Sometimes moving, zooming and panning etc. in the render window suddenly changes speed to extremely slow.I think it is not a CPU or a memory issue, it is not 'buggy slow' but probably a 'fine tuned navigation' function I somehow trigger.I have been looking into every menu and settings without finding what causing the slow mode. The problem is that I can not get back to normal speed without restarting Creation Kit. Does anyone know what is happening and how to get back to default navigation speed? T
johndoebowler
The render window is super sluggish for me as well when it loads every visible cell every time you move. I believe there's a setting that tells it not to load additional cells when you move around. It should be "Allow Render Window Cell Loads", but I'm not 100% sure. Hoamaii
I have the same problem, I believe it's a matter of how fast your rig can load all this stuff. I have a pretty good CPU with a solid GPU, but when I look at the Task Manager while loading cells in the CK, it sometimes can get up to 3.5 GB memory usage and the FPS drops dramatically no matter what my CK settings are. It's actually worse than complex 3D processing in 3DS max or rendering complex edits in Premiere. And way worse than Skyrim CK ever was. I have not found any solution to that yet. thousande
Thank you for the answers I still think it is the render window is in 'slow motion mode'. It is not sluggish or stuttering, more smooth slow motion like. It does not matter whether I load 5 cells or 10 cells at a time. It have happened in empty worldspaces / cells where there a few polygons / render calls etc. too. I am sure I am triggering a feature, maybe with a mouse gesture to make the the navigation 'precision like slow'.
