fore
I want to write a tool set (behavior generator), and I would like to place them somewhere like Data/Tools/<my folder>, so they can simply be installed with NMM. But I can't find any other tools which has done that. Any suggestions or examples?
blove
I use NMM to install a few tools already. Skyrim Savegame Scanner, Skyrim String Localizer, and TESVSnip. The more portable the better. Or are you asking how the archive structure should be set up?
fore
I don't think the more portable the better is what I want. You say in one of your tools installation "if Skyrim folder wasn't detected automatically, browse it manually". I want to avoid that. My tool will come with some game related data, and the result will also go into the installation directory. So I want to place my exe somewhere below Data. The question is where. I don't want to create Data/tools, if there is already something else, like Data/bin. And I don't like the idea where in Oblivion all kind of tools created their folder directly under Data, or even Oblivion.
