SizzyBubbles
Heya! I'm just not really sure what happened here.So everyhting was running fine, I had CBBE as well as skin textures all working great via instructions (from level 1-7). And suddenly it stops working? The only thing I just installed was "Ellie's Armor Compendium" and it borked after that. I uninstalled Ellie's Armor and redid the Bodyslide batch build as per usual... no go. Nothing works now, not modded clothes nor vanilla. Looks like its working on NPCs? I haven't the slightest as to what happened??? I disabled everything attached to CBBE: Valkyr textures, Unique player and its CBBE addon, Ida body texture, and Misfit tattoo... Then I disabled/enabled CBBE itself... sorted in LOOT... batch build everything again in CBBE... Still no go! I have other armor/clothing mods installed, but they were never an issue previously so I haven't bothered with themFor ref the body is a normal vanilla body size, but still seems to have the CBBE texture (is nude). I am at a total loss of what to do! What is the conflict? Or what am I doing wrong here?HALP Edited July 18, 2018 by SizzyBubbles
Deleted3082751User
" Looks like its working on NPCs?" sounds like *CBBE* is working, as such this sounds like your issue is something to do with *Unique Player* mod i Don't use *Unique Player* mod myself, so this bit here is only guessing, with that said, if its anything like *Custom Race* like on *Skyrim*, then Unique player would have its own folder for texture and meshes for the character, and what it sounds like is happening is, their is no folder structure linking CBBE to Unique Player Folder. More specifically, Bodyslide and Outfit Studio is not applying to the Unique Player, as the custom meshes for armor and clothing are not linked by Unique Player. basically disabling or getting rid of Unique Player mod, will very likely fix the issue. Thanks for responding! I disabled anything having to do with Unique Player. Reset with Bodyslide and LOOT. Nothing, still the same issue.I completely uninstalled Unique Player from NMM. Reset again with Bodyslide and LOOT. Still no change. Not sure if it's still working on NPCs or not, I haven't checked. Weird thing is, Unique Player was working just fine for my for several hours (like i said from basically the start of the game). Then just borked. Any other advice? What did i miss here? Deleted3082751User
first thing to do, would be to make sure that Bodyslide is linked to the correct folder. as Such: Go here --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Tools\BodySlide <-- open *Bodyslide*, Click on *Settings*, ensure that *Fallout 4* is checked in the *Target Game* field and then also ensure that the *Game Data Path* is linked to the correct folder. (address) if Fallout 4 is installed on your main drive (C:/) then this should be the folder structure path for *Game Data Path* --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\ <-- you can copy that address if you want. click ok, then close bodyslide, and open it again, then ensure that you have a Body Selected in the *Body Preset* Drop Down Box, once done click on *Batch Build* and check in game to see if they have applied Note: if you are on a 32 bit windows system, simply remove the (x86) in the address bar, for the *Game Data Path* Note: if you are on windows 10, you will most likely need to run Bodyslide as *Administrator*. (right click on bodyslide, and click on Run As Administrator) you will need to do this, as bodyslide will be writing stuff to a sensitive folder, that windows is very sensitive about (especially windows 10. windows 7 and older are much less restrictive) Note: arrows are simply to highlight addresses, do not include them in data paths. Sorry i disappeared there. I have been working. So I checked everything you said above... and well, everything is where it should be. I didn't need to edit anything. The only thing that was different was that my files/steam/all that are all on a separate internal hard-drive (specifically for games). No worries though :) I knew where all that stuff was. I did a batch build again and still no change... I then changed the Body Preset to "Curvy" and did a batch build just for the hell of it (I was originally on the default CBBE "Vanilla" body). Booted up the game and that Curvy preset worked! So I guess the Vanilla body preset just isn't working it seems?I'm sorry if I sound really dumb, but I really dunno what is up here. Why would the Vanilla CBBE body just suddenly not work?Once again. I appreciate your patience and the help.
Deleted3082751User
first of all, no need to apologize, life should always comes first :) with that said: when you installed bodyslide and outfit studio did you pick the Curvy preset as default. if so i would assume thats why only curvy preset works. but alas i dont know why vanilla cbbe would not work, as i always create my own custom bodyslide presets. have you tried changing the preset back to vanilla again and batch building (probably a silly question, but you never know) with that said, you can always change the breast slider (and likewise all other sliders) for the Curvy Preset to match the Vanilla Body anyway. if their is indeed an issue with bodyslide and outfit studio, you will probably want to speak to *ousnius*, as he/she created the program.
