CTD on load

Not had any issues with the game until today, when I started getting CTDs every time I load a save. The only thing that has changed in my modlist is that I installed dual sheath redux, which I don't think is causing the issue as I managed to load an earlier save than the one I want. I am using the alternative start mod and I only get CTD on saves AFTER I have started the main quest line.

Okay I managed to fix the issue by going into C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves and deleting all the SKSE files. Not really sure if this is the best fix or how it will affect my game, but it is working for now.

Your issue is caused by a conflict between the newest version of XPMSSE & Racemenu Alpha. Revert back to XPMSSE 4.20 & your issue will be resolved. Even the fix provided by SSE Engine Fixes was broken by the latest XPMSSE update. Also, your load order is a mess.
