Mahtawa
1. Nifskope and maybe a Blender (FREE!) / Maya / 3dsmax2. Most modded armors have a body ready, you just need to find armors for this and that body type. (robert male 5, HGEC C-cup and so on, you get the point) 3. Open 2 nifskopes, use one as your armor base, open armor where you want to take parts to second nifskope, right click the armor part - copy branch, go back to other window, paste branch (in scene root)Thats about it. Rest is up to your imagination. Edited May 25, 2012 by Mahtawa

DeadShadow777
so it means only using nifskope is enough?but how about the texture? does the copy-pasted part will automatically find the texture? thanks for the replier :D
DrakeTheDragon
Ordinary meshes' textures are defined inside the NiTriShape/Strips branch by its NiTexturing property. You copy&paste this branch, so you also copy&paste those settings. Texture reference is by strings like "textures\armor\myarmor\cuirass.dds" and as such can be used regardless of where the NIF file is located. Any format different to the one I posted, that is not starting at "textures" or even including a drive letter, will make the NIF file unusable for anybody else but you (they don't necessarily have their Oblivion at the exact same location as you) and as such turn the mod unshareable anyways! Bodyparts are treated differently, as the game engine gives them the race's actual skin texture and makes them adapt in skin tint and color to the settings you did in CharGen, but that's a different story and when copying from one NIF to another there shouldn't be any changes to those settings in bodyparts necessary, or you're running into trouble later on anyways. DeadShadow777
okay, got that one, but it seems my real problem is the control, really have to get used to it.so nifskope control doesn't like autocad or 3dsMax :wallbash:
