PS I just realised i put "Make your work as a modders resource." as the topic, it should have said "Mark your work as a modders resource.". No wonder some replies seemed a little strange.

The typo in the topic didn't impact any of my comments. But I did edit the title for you.

Good day!

You're welcome.

Hmmm....A typo in a letter that leads to war and only you can prevent it or pick a side to egg on the fight!!! A realistic plot about two factions that go to war because of mis-information. Sweet.

Question for all.

Does it annoy you that your character seems to be the only living hero in the game ?

This is something thats disturbed me for some time. You never see heros of the Empire walking around.

It does seem odd. I liked how you could run into other "legends" in KOTOR and that you were not the only one capable of fighting. I like how you can "add" to the battle but not necessarily dominate the scene just because you are standing there. I like the feel of being able to conquer a foe that "could" have overcome me if I didn't play my cards correctly (Umbra was my 1st encounter in this game like this). That is the feeling I try to re-create in the mods I create (well, the ones I spend effort on such as Lost Paladins, Vvardenfell Glass, Spartan 300 and a tiny hint in the Mandalorian Armor mod). Although, I do not like how enemies are ALWAYS an offset higher or lower so I'd rather see them at a static level which is too deadly to a low-level, a challenge at higher levels and easy at very high levels.

Yeah the whole level list enemies sounded like a good idea in theory, but realy kills gameplay in reality.

That's why I'm planing on including some arcade-like bosses in the Dragon City mod - large HP, strong but avoidable attacks and a few nice weaknesses to find and exploit - prefferably somehow connected to the surroundings.

Anyway, on topic: YES! It's another of those anti-imersion elements of this game. People like Umbra, Gray Prince, Archmage Traven etc are the only "heroes of the empire" in the game.

Not that much to speak off.

I feel theres room for randomly spawning heros in a game that specializes in every story having 2 sides. A few books giving stories of great deeds at one of the book shops is all thats need then somebody can insert their own leveled list in the last level of a cave and give it a low chance of appearing and youve got random heros.

But for the imperial city, id expect to see them walking around being mobbed by crowds.

Might have to do something about that, i already added a few hero types to the palace in TEC 1.8 as visitors just to add to the feeling but its a small touch.

Anyway its a question of immersion and believability, being the only hero in an entire empire never sat well with me.
