iv been trying for 2 days to figure out which mods are causing my game to crash, going as far and enabling them one by one to see what crashes, and while thinking this was working, i installed a mod that caused the game to crash so went and uninstalled it and checked to make sure i was back to normal and it still crashed. not to mention all of the mods that i am using has come from someone else using them. i have all DLC installed and i am always checking the plugins to make sure its not missing content. mod list linked bellow.

Do not use Zan Auto Purge for normal game play. That is for mod developers to use when testing their mods.

Of course you will crash when you have NMC Large active and the 4GB inactive.

You also have a lot of high resolution mods installed. I think you will have to go to a smaller NMC pack in order to continue the game. You should try a smaller pack and if all goes well, move up to the larger pack.

Along with your sorted load order, your system specifications and install location would be helpful in determining the problem.

Sorry for late response.

the load order im using is how NMM auto sorts it, my system never maxes out when the game crashes, but i have an i7 7700k, 1060 3gb, 16gb ram. and the install is on a hard drive. in seperate folders on a mass storage drive

NMM does not optimally sort the "load order", and does not claim to. It's a specialized process specific to each game. You need to either do so manually or use the tool LOOT. Please see the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article which contain links to that and other essential tools and mods.

As for your CTDs, a lot depends upon exactly when it crashes. Please see'Issue: Modded game CTDs on startup' entry and 'Solutions to Performance problems' section

If that isn't enough to resolve your problem, please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as NVSE and it's related plugins, texture replacements (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX.

Hi Dubious,

I have just done a lot of reading :D and through it learned a lot, this may also explain some issues I'm having in my Fallout 4 play through and i may have to do some research for that.

I still have yet to fix my issue, but with the knowledge i now have will spend more time attempting to figure out the issue before i turn back to the forums for further help.

Thank you very much.
