Sidr82
I'm looking for a mod that will allow me to remove permanent beds. I tried the placing a floor down and moving the bed to the floor and deleting he floor, but it wouldn't let me move the bed to the floor. This was at Finch Farm. So if anyone could make a mod allowing you to scrap permanent beds, that would be nice. Or, if here already is a mod for that, please let me know. WastelandAssassin
aren't mods like Scrap Everything already doing this?I'll have to actually progress enough in the game to reach this settlement and test it to know for sure , but I'm pretty sure that the large scrapping overhauls should allow for these to be removed
kevkiev
Yeah, I'd imagine Scrap Everything does that already. You could also use the "extra object selection" feature in Place Everywhere (toggled via the Insert key) to get the scrap option - that's how I scrapped the owned beds at Finch Farm, Somerville Place, etc. (I think, it's been a while. For sure some of them though.)
Sidr82
I use scrap everything and it wouldn't remove those beds for whatever reason. It removed everything else from the settlement except for those beds.
jkruse05
If you're on PC just select the bed with the console, type 'markfordelete', then travel away and travel back. Edited July 22, 2018 by jkruse05
Sidr82
If you're on PC just select the bed with the console, type 'markfordelete', then travel away and travel back.I tried the first part of that but I didn't travel away and travel back. I will try that.Edit: Tried it and it didn't work. I suppose it could be one of my other mods causing it, but I don't know of any mod I use that has any reason to affect those beds. WastelandAssassin
well , if you find no other solution , you could try the 'disable' command on the bedsI would generally not recommend using it , especially if you aren't careful (as you could accidentally disable the wrong object) . but it should remove the beds , and allow you to use that space for whatever you want

It's very possible that you removed an ambient light or something instead. That could also have been the problem when you used markfordelete. I once removed the green border from a settlement when trying to get rid of something else. This will help when using console commands. Update: Now the disable seems to be working so it may have been something on my end causing it not to work properly.
