Raven_Lord_1 Posted July 25, 2008 Share Posted July 25, 2008 First before you read this make sure youve red episode 1! you can read thatHere The Dark ChildEpisode 2"The Followers" After ravels grand journey of running away from his father he came across a town called Cheydinhal WHen he arrived at the gate he could sense something was wrong...he looked ahead of himself and noticed a bashed in wall...and to his right some chunks of brick it appeared they were barricadeing the west-gate...but ravel didint say or try to look like he noticed to not attract any attention to himself...and continued to make his way to the Chapel...once there ravel entered the chapel and slowly walked up to the altar of the nine...when the altar was before him ravel just about collapsed in tears onto his knees...And he began to cry out in tears for forgiveness...the chaplan and the other people just thought of him to be crazy...just then.. ravel couldnt hear anything and couldnt see anything all he could hear...was the moaning of the dead imprisoned in corpses...Ravel stood up on his feets and his instinct took over and he ran to the west gate...when ravel arrived there was a huge group of zombies who had gotten in the gate...the zombies quickly overwhelmed the guard that was protecting the gate and killed two citizens...before ravel could look into his spellbook for some fireball spells...he then began to shoot fire at the groups of zombies trying to hold them off...After the last zombie was slown ravel quickly went to inspect there corpses makeing sure...that all the souls traped in the body's had moved on and at the same time pouring Rock salt...on the deceased to make sure they wouldn't rise and be forever at peace...then ravel examined the zombies again to try to figure out why they have been attacking cheydinhal..But then ravel blacked out for a moment and had a strange nightmare...when he awoke form it he shook his head saying it was just a dream...ravel then walked back to the castle but then he got the same feeling and looked behind him to see...a large army of zombies who had plowed through the city's east gate...ravel screamed out to the castle and a garrision of soldiers came out...it was a heated battle of sword and magic that lasted over 6 hours...after the battle ravel examined the corpse's once more and got an idea...ravel began to scower the battlfield looking for items of intrest...there he found a sword stuck in the ground that he took...and in the garden he found a shield which he also took...Then ravel went down the pathway out of the castle and took one of the dead guards chainmail...and put it over his robes...he was now ready to battle whatever came his way...Then ravel quickly went down to the local blacksmith to grab a quiver of arrows for his bow...just as ravel left the blacksmiths shop a haze overcame cheydinhal...ravel quickly drew his sword and heard 1000's of feet on the march...another huge army of zombies blasted into the gates of cheydinhal...but this time they all went after ravel avoiding everybody else ...Ravel began to fight back sliceing with his blade and shooting them with his bow and scared them off..the scared zombie horde ran acros sthe bridge and began to kill the citizen's and guards...ravel quickly ran after them across the bridge...just then some citizens banded together and grabed any weapon they could find and began to fight!...after the last zombie was the haze vanished and ravel began to examine the corpses again...after he attended to the dead at the east gate he blacked out once again and had the same nightmatewhen he awoke he was at the imperial palace somehow...just then a huge army came out of the northern way to the palace...the palace guard quickly sprung into action and tryed to hold the line!...Ravel began to fight to shooting hundreds of fireballs at them...after the last one was slain ravel examined them...they were the sam as the ones in cheydinhal...but somehow he felt like they were diffrent and were sent to kill him...just him...
