Overwriting Mod Files

When installing new mods with NMM, what should I choose when it comes to overwriting one mod's files with another mod's file?

Yes to All

Yes to this ONE

No to All

No this this ONE

ect.

Having a lot of issues with game crashes, holes in the world, falling through the world ect, and just thinking of random things that can fix or cause these.

Thanks.

It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish and what mods you have already installed an what they do ... Obviously if you for instance have a follower appearance mod installed and then install another mod which changes not only their behavior but also their appearance, you need to decide if you want the old look or the new one, so you would answer yes to any files that overwrite/alter there behavior but decide yes or no to any that modify their looks ...

Despite the fact that the NMM makes installing mods easier and quicker, you still do need a certain level of knowledge of what the mod files do and what files they affect in game before attempting an installation. I'd suggest reading a couple of tutorials/posts on "manually" installing mod files, this gives you a good working knowledge of what's going on and you can make an informed decision about yes, yes to all and so on
