Omny
Y'know at this point, these kinds of topics should just go in their own forum section. Anyway, I'm having the same problem that a lot of people have. You know the drill- I turn on NVSE through the Nexus Mod Manager, game turns on for three seconds, crashes to desktop before I even see the Bethesda logo. I've tried all I could short of sacrificing a goat, so I'll throw my problem to you guys and see if you can lend me a hand. That Laptop shows i3 models having only Intel graphics. Do you have a dedicated gpu installed? Edited May 26, 2012 by trog69
Omny
What's a dedicated GPU? Now that I think about it, I had a similar problem with Fallout 3 where it couldn't run on an Intel graphics card, but that shouldn't be a problem with New Vegas, right? Cyberlazy
... Fallout new vegas will require similar or more graphics power then fallout 3. Its based on the same engine.
JimboUK
Min GPU is NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850, FO3 and NV are the same underneath, if FO3 didn't run then nor will NV. That said the Intel HD Graphics 3000 (if that's what you have) appears to work if people are to be believed. It's also on this list http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelhdgraphics3000_2000/sb/CS-032052.htm Try disabling all the mods and see what happens. Omny
Okay, it loads just fine when I open it via Steam rather than through the mod manager, so my graphics card isn't the problem. I also tried opening it up via the Fallout Mod Manager rather then the Nexus Mod Manager, but it still crashed after three seconds. Maybe re-installing my mods will work? Omny
Yep, re-installing my mods worked. I also got rid of the Nexus Mod Manager and replaced it with Fallout Mod Manager. It's a lot easier to work with, honestly.
