So my copy of New Vegas was running fine. I added a few mods and it was fine. I added Project Nevada and it was fine, except it wanted me to get the New Vegas Script Extender. Suddenly not fine. This thing has screwed up my game to the point that I can't even get into the game. I'm not sure what is wrong but every time I try to start up the game it won't load. It doesn't matter if I use the normal start up through steam, the one through the mod manager, the nvse_loader.exe or the FNV4GB.exe. It always crashes. So I decided to reinstall the game. Does not help. I got rid of the Mod Manager, Unistalled New Vegas, Reinstalled, and the problem persists. What can I do to reverse the New Vegast Script Extender and the FNV4GB.exe?

which version of nvse are you using and which version of fnv4gb do you have ,there is a FNV4GB NVSE version which it looks like you may well need which requires a certain version of NVSE search the nexus mods for FNV4GB NVSE then toddle over to silverlock.org for the corresponding version of NVSE

give that a whirl and post back results others can benefit from answered threads too .

ooh tasty info there jim_uk , i might add that use of a mod manager there will enable the user to check which files are slaves and which masters they require. highlighting any esp/esm within FOMM for example gives the title, author , description and relevant masters of which there are two types ESM (Elder Scrolls Master) and a well master file eg take lings it has an ESP plugin which can be edited an ESM which cant but the ESP is slave to , then lings ESM is also a slave to FNV ESM take out lings ESM and it no worky take out lings ESP it works hope i explained that clearly enough .
