KOTOR 3 to be an MMO

As far as an Elder Scrolls MMO is concerned...well that's official too, it will be done, just not by Bethesda.

I don't know wether to say thank god bethesda's not in charge oh god bethesda's not in charge. Wether it was made by bethesda or not I'm not going to play it. As much as I love TES universe I don't feel it would make a good MMO. Maybe a 4-6 players online but never an MMO.

That... really bites.

Both KOTOR games were quite enjoyable, but it looks like I'll be taking a pass on this one. Probably for the better, too, because MMOs rarely have a story worth telling... and it's a pain in the posterior to build your own story and RP it when there are n00bs all around you that couldn't care less about immersion. My online entertainment has been, and probably always will be, provided by non-RPG games for the sake of my sanity and enjoyment. I take roleplaying and story far too seriously to not be frustrated senseless by most of the MMOs I've seen over the years. I get annoyed just watching people play them.

I did my first MMO starting back in December - Tabula Rasa - so I could game with a few friends. Now I haven't done a lot of MMO's, but the time and effort to level is what is killing the game for me. Trying to put a group together to earn experiance and deal with the characters that run through and ruin your 'mission' is a total pain. I absalutly hate having to deal with childern in and during the time I get to play a game

I can't see KOTOR being a MMO and keeping the story line, it would have to be a major change in the entire structure of the game.

While I don't like MMO's as much as games like Oblivion, I'll have to wait and see what they roll out before I make a call. If they do a quick and cheap job to roll out an MMO, I'm gone. The last KOTOR was suppose to have a lot more story line to it but they got in a hurry to get it out so they had to cut sections of it out to meet the release date someone set. You have to know that kids will be all over it when it's released.

If they take their time and develop something that has a great story line and great play as an MMO game, I'll give it a look - otherwise I'll leave it to the childern to play and go back to Oblivion.

Hahahahaha! It's a sad truth. Try as I might, I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around the idea of this.

Wow, I hope it isn't exclusively online. I was really hoping that they would do a knights of the new republic or something like that, but whatever. Parts of oblivion (such as the arena) would be cool as an online game, but the whole quest thing wouldn't work too well imo.

they should just skip the MMO and do a proper ending to KOTOR 2

There is..But you just have to do a lot of work to really get the missing pieces of the storyline that make it make sense.
