Bioware: The beginning of the end?

Bioware is an amazing company for gaming. They work with EA too often, that's all. And EA milks money like there's no tomorrow.

 

BioWare was bought by EA because of that stupid MMO was ruining their buttom line, BioWare is owned by EA and is a brand of EA. I may not like EA much but it is pale in contrast with what Activision does, which is evil.

 

Buttom line: BioWare belongs to EA, Activision is the big evil of gaming.

Activision and EA are money freaks. IW, 3arch, Bioware, everyone is better off without those companies ruining gaming for us all, and trying to take our money to play our favorite games. Activision wants to place a ridiculous price on COD map packs, when maps should be FREE. Same goes for any FPS that has ever released a map pack with a price on it.

Who would invest in them to publish their games? EA and Activision are the second and thrid biggest publishers in the world, they are also publicly owned companies, so they have to release profits every year to give a reason for investors to invest, many of whom are old people or families that don't know a thing about video games. When BioWare is about to get 14 million people to TOR, Origin becoming a major competior to Steam and people stop bagging about X, then BioWare can become a Blizzard/Valve but in terms of contracts, BioWare got the better end of their takeover of EA than Blizzard and IW did with Activision.
