davidgarypepper
Hey Everyone, I have my Macbook Pro 17 with Bootcamp on Windows 7. However, When I create something in the G.E.C.K. and enable it in the Data Files of the Launcher, any changes I have made aren't shown in the game :(. The first time I tried they weren't showing up in the /data/ folder at all so I opened the G.E.C.K. as administrator. I can't think what this could be but I have a slight feeling that as it's on Boot Camp, the permissions are wrong? Has anyone else has this problem? Tried Googling it but can't find it anywhere. Thank you :).Pepper.

davycrockett
Have you tried installing outside of UAC ie not in program files x86 . Even Technet copies of win 7 dont like games inside x86 directory just create a folder labled "games" or "Steam" in the root of either C drive or better still on a secondary HD . ( keep that STEAMing piece of excrement away from program files too , its nothing but aggro ) because it sounds to me that UAC is doing its job and preventing unauthorised users from editing and saving the contents of x86 which is where critical windows files reside . chucksteel
I'm also a mac guy using a bootcamp version of vista. I had to disable UAC to mod my game. Do as stated above just reinstall outside of the default directory or, turn off UAC.
