Dan3345
I took a training course for firearm handling and room clearing when I was working with private security companys. One of the things we were taught (as are all law enforcement) is this: The example I will use the one they gave to us. Its really a scenario but here it goes. A 911 call goes out that a man is beating his wife with a bat. You arrive on scene to see him doing this and you (physically you must act this out in the test) raise your glock and ask him to lower his weapon. He does not, then he comes toward you, you ask again then he threatens you. You open fire unloading three shots into him. The man is ten feet away when you open fire but he is able to continue walking towards you with the bat raised for another 8 feet before collapsing. So yeah, its not uncommon for anyone enraged enough to shrug off bullets. But again since you say he was on cocaine. it IS a hell of a drug. Syco21
And police service weapons have no effect and everyone is panicing? I'm sorry, but that's too funny. Service M9's are cheap pieces of crap, you can shoot a guy 8 times with a real bullet and it may have no effect lol. The bullets they use in those pistols are like plastic. Hell, they could be plastic. The police are not MPs. I don't know of any LEA that issues M9s solely, let alone at all. Most agencies use either .40 or .45 for another thing. Finally, you can shoot a guy 8 times with just about any caliber, especially pistol calibers, and they could still shrug it off. Bullet placement is important for a reason you know. SubjectProphet
Not good with our police, sorry. I usually think of M9s for pistols. Rage can make someone take pain and easily shrug it off. If someone was at the limit of their rage, they could easily shrug off almost 10 shots at 20 feet away if police service crap was being used. This guy was high on one of the most powerful drugs and filled with rage over a petty argument. One of those bullets had to have hit his head, otherwise, unless they fired 15-20 shots, he would've stayed alive and perfectly fine.
Syco21
Number of bullets has no effect if all the shots hit non-vital areas. I'd expect you to know this. It truly isn't the size or number of bullets, it's bullet placement. Size and power just make vital spots slightly bigger, number increases the chance of hitting a vital spot. If the normal person is shot, anywhere, usually they will keel over in pain or be less interested in continuing their activity. Use of lethal force is rarely necessary to subdue someone who isn't drugged out of their mind. Given the scene that the officer was walking into, I'm pretty sure that just about anyone would be quite shaken and probably not able to aim for vital areas, or areas which aren't open space, particularly effectively. People may be expert marksmen in games, but in real life it usually boils down to spray and pray.
SubjectProphet
Again, he was also high on cocaine. The drug is powerful as hell, meaning he would be focussed on his goal of killing the officers.
Syco21
He wasn't trying to kill the officers, he was trying to eat the brains of his victim. Cocaine? Yeah right, this was clearly a zombie attack and the fact most people don't believe it is only further proof!

Yeah right, this was clearly a zombie attack and the fact most people don't believe it is only further proof! And people say I'm insane -_- There have been people so high on cocaine they attempt to kill country leaders, lead terrorist attacks, begin massacres on city streets, this is a small thing compared to what I've heard people high on cocaine do in crime. If someone believes zombies and becomes high enough on this powerful drug, they will probably go insane like this.
Syco21
Why deny what is blatant? BY THE NINE! You're a damned zombie! It's clear to me now, you don't want us to know you exist because you know we would hunt you all down and eradicate you. *flails around in circles* Edited May 29, 2012 by Syco21
SubjectProphet
COMPLETE EXPLANATION: The attacker was using a new type of drug stronger than cocaine has ever been (almost 8x stronger). Upon getting high on it, the brain suffers terrible amounts of damage, you probably won't survive being high on the drug. It gives the consumer a huge strength boost, breaking pain glands down and destroying nerves. He didn't feel any pain when shot because he didn't have pain glands anymore. There have been 8 other cases like this reported, each attacker high on this new drug. The consumer uses any weapons he can, and since he was naked, his jaw was his weapon. I've seen at least 19 other times where people thought a zombie apocalypse was happening, even though drugs were behind it. EDIT: The man was also a convicted criminal, wanted for rape, murder, assualt, attempted murder, and around 5 counts on all crimes. He was also found in possesion of cocaine, bath salts, crack, severly high amounts of alcohol, and hundreds of pills that are often abused.
