Rabb02
I haven't played Skyrim in about 2 weeks. When I try to launch it crashes with Skyrim has stopped working error. This happens as soon as I click play. I have 300+ hours in Skyrim with no crashing before at launch. I have already verified the cacheI checked the sound playback settings it is set to 44100hzI do not have any modsI disabled Hi-res texturesAll drivers/OS are updated All 300+ hours are not on the same character I only have a few saves on this one. All the others were moved to a backup drive before I started a new character. I did get a new monitor today. Is there an Issue with any steam updates and Skyrim? All other steam games launch fine. Georgiegril
Have you checked your setting on the main menu "options" to make sure your new screen resolution is selected? Also on the Skyrim prefs.ini, does it list the new monitor resolution?
Rabb02
Sorry for not responding sooner, I think it was the new catalyst profiles update that caused it.
