Rumor has it that the "Improved AI Pathfinding" is Bethspeak for ... "Erm ... ahh. ... we think we've come up with a fix for the navmesh bug, and hopefully it didn't totally break the game like it did in the 1.5beta which forced us to remove it again before realeasing the patch ... so we won't call it a fix for the navmesh bug just yet"

I hope so, that thing was terrible. If they were certain they'd fixed it though, you'd think they would be advertising it every time they mention the 1.6 patch. As it stands, idk.

I Have automatic updates on, but how do I know if I have 1.6?

Thanks.

At the moment it's still only a 'beta' patch, so you have to set Steam to include you in Beta Tests if you want the patch now ... Otherwise It will automatically update Skyrim as soon as it becomes an "Official" patch

To see your game version, hit the "Escape" key in Skyrim to bring up the save/load/quit menus, in the bottom left portion of the screen, you'll see your game version, currently it's 1.5.26 (I think?)

Had the riverside lodge house which had navmesh issues !! Now works fine my followers follow me about and my wife loves it and can even venture out the door now !!!!!!!!!

Hell yes. Anybody else can confirm?

As far as I have tested it out, it appears that this beta patch has finally fixed the navmesh bug. Let's hope, the official patch will include that fix as well!
