  1. Is there a way to turn fast travel off and back on in console please? The reason I ask is because my game is relatively stable but when I get to level 75+ I have twice developed trouble with fast travel, crashing or just not working. If I reset it by console it may cure the problem? Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. Looking for help or suggestions to save my current Skyrim game play thru, spent 100 hrs but now have 2 major problems. I am in Scholsteim, Dragonborn DLC, around the time i finished off Miraak, 2 problems occured. I can't fast travel anymore and I can't sleep or wait. If I fast travel I get a infinite load bug, if I sleep or wait, the sceen for any outdoor ares shows up black, totally black. Really don't want to loose 1 weeks playtime to go back to a very old save. Any help greatly appreciated.
  3. Yes, the mods make the game and I want to extend my special thanks to all modders. Can't imagine ever playing vanilla Skyrim again :-)

It seems almost any follower mod blocks the lets talk options with your spouse. At least for mee, even if the child.esp is last in my load order. Kudagras, can you give me the quest stages please as I can't open it in CK either, even though I can open Hearthfires mods. Or, the id of the pregnancy disease spell, so I could add it manually. Thanks in advance.
  5. I tried to script this in Oblivion but failed to get it to work but can't even begin to get my head around scripting in skyrim. The problem. I have too much gold, getting to the stage later in games where I wonder if it's worth looting chests and urns and stuff. Ruins the emersion. The Solution. A simple mod that reflects real life, i.e. it costs money to maintain followers and property. Apart from mercenaries costing a hire fee, there is no ongoing hire cost or upkeep on anything, you don't even need to repair equipment any more. I tried to do it manually but keep loosing track of time. The simplest solution. There are infinite variations and complexities of course, but realistically, keep it as simple as possible to conserve modders time for good quest mods etc. How about a mod that deducts say, once a week, an amount of gold that reflects your position and displays a message to tell you you have paid. The amount you set yourself by adjusting an integer through console each time you buy a house, hire a new follower or mercenary, even buy a horse or get a pet. 100 gold times the integer (PlayerExpenses), e.g. you buy Breezehome, +3 to the integer, get married +2, buy a horse +1, fighting follower +4 and so on. set PlayerExpenses to 4, just got Vilja as a follower, set PlayerExpenses to 5, someone has to pay for Bruse's feed and lodging.   6. Probably game days, don't really know how the time scale works. I personally would set pregnancy chance to low single figure percentage.
  7. Cant wait. Can I suggest option to set things like pregnancy chance, length of pregnancy and time delay before another pregnancy by console so each player can adjust to suit their own game style. Thanks and double thanks.
  8. No ideas, maybe a batch file that sets the value for number of solls back to 2? I don't know the name of the value unfortunately:-(
  9. My conjuration level is over 100 and I have the twin souls perk. However, recently when playing Agents of Righteous Might I think, I lost that ability, now only one soul. I think it was ARM because it affected magica regen and other stuff when I was wearing the Mythic Dawn Robes. Thankfully this stuff returned to normal after I finished the mod. I tried giving myself the perk again through console, but I still only can have one soul at a time. Suggestions please, and thanks in advance for any help.
  10. Can someone point me to a tutorial please on enchanting weapons, i.e, what I have to do in CK to allow a new weapon to be enchanted, or tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance for any help :-)
  11. Can someone pls tell me how to load Hearthfire into the construction kit? Every time I try it says it cant load a esm(masterf file). Do I need to unpack the matching archive to access the esp? If so, how please? Thanks in advance for any help.
  12. Dawnguard was blocking Thieves guild Meet the Family, found that much at least, but when i put Dawnguard back in, the camera vie reverts to 3rd person and wont hold in first person. Will try the above things you suggest. Thanks for the help Updated SKSE Might try the new first person mod and see how that goes
  13. Sitting in chair did not fix, maybe I will try sleeping in a bed? Note, Lyvieve Sisters mod, Jonestown, only has a BSa file and esp, no separate scripts yet it still shows up in journal entries, long, long after it was deleted
  14. Since I did a reinstall thru the skyrim disk my game wont start, after 4.5 hrs downloading from steam Before this I started a whole new game and new character, went to Riften asap and still TG02B wont freeking start I was deleting all sorts of mods and still no luck thanks, still trying
  15. Been wrestling with a problem for about 4 days now and had a gut full of steam and Skyrim. Started playing again about 3 weeks ago after a year layoff. get to Thieves guild quest Taking care of Business, done, next quest (Bee Farm ) starts, but the concurrent quest (Meet the Family, TG02B) does not start. As you know u cannot finishe the thieves guild quests unless you get jobs from Vex and Delven. No matter what I tried I cant get the concurrent quest to start, initially, tried deleting any possible offending mods, (not running any quest mods, few houses in minor villiages, armour and clothes mods, followers etc). After deleting a few more mods, the game wont start. Tried concole commands 50 times for TG02B, setquest, 10, get value 0, starte quest, nothing. Had a clean version of skyrim on another comp, started new game and got to where the TG02B starts, imported the save file to the modded version, everything fine except the game is stuck in 3rd person view, mouse wheel doesnt work and pressing"F" works for a second then reverts, tried going into dfferent cells hitting "F" all the time, no go, tried every gameplay and display ofption that even remotely looks like it, console commands, tfc, etc no go. Had it Installed on a windows 8 laptop, same problem, cant get TG02B to start, loaded the save from un modded game, 3rd person view stuck. Put disc in drive and tried to reinstall, 4.5 hrs validating and downloading and then the game wont start Reloading a full save from 3 days ago atm, and ready to send a screwed up disc back to Steam Note had castle grey installed a long time ago, now long deleted, but I also had Jonestown mod installed(Lylvieve sisters), and even though long deleted, the quest, visit jonestown keeps showing up. Need to unstick the 3rd person view at least.
  16. I understood the more you use magic, the more it is supposed to level up. However, I am finding alteration is virtually at a standstill. I use Oakflesh regularily and it has never advanced alteration level ever. Transmute has a couple of times but I have to find so much iron ore it is not funny. The only way I have advanced my alteration is to buy it from Tolfdir. Is it a bug or is there a better magic to advance alteration? Thanks.
  17. Is there a mod that allows you to put 3 enchantments on an item? There are odd items in the game (such as the Mace of Molag Bal) that have 3 enchantments. Would be cool if enchanting continued and you could add a 3rd enchnatment at say level 125. Better still, if you could add the enchantment to an existing enchanted item.
  18. Can't identify the offending mod, pity. It seems to be blocking my entry to the thieves faction when Mercer says your in, that's all I can figure. Anyway, thanks, am playing on a new game doing most of thieves guild first.

  20. Tried that (SkyrimPref I think you meant). No change. When I started thieves quests I had 6 unusual gems which had started TGCrown quest before I got to Riften. When i first enterted flagon Vex would not talk. Since then i found 2 more and she now talked to me ONCE. When i say talked to me, other than push off lines. I have tried dozens of combinations of setstage and getstage and it is weird. It is as if TG02b and TGRNT and TGRBE quests are there but not activated. I can get their values which are always 0, set them to anything, correct or incorrect and don't get an error message, then go back and get stage and it still shows 0.
  21. Maybe be my Skyrim is shot. Tried without any additional homes and with only one companion. Still won't work. Interestingly, I tried to console TG02B, the quest where you get your armour after talking to Vex, Delvin and Tonina and get your armour. I entered a false value by console and it did not come up with an error message????? It should come up with something like cannot find 100?
  22. Level 54, virtually no trouble. But I have not added any mods for this playthrough except some farm animal/dog and cat mods.
  23. I will try the player homes, but I am pretty sure it is not them, especially as I have no changes to vanilla homes. The common denominator is the TGCrown quest has always started because I found some of the gems, and I had 2 followers every time I got to the Theives Guild.
