Modern Military Combat Vehicles/Helicopters/Modern Cobat Uniforms for you and all companions can use

I would like to know if its possible to bring in some modern combat vehicles and modern combat uniforms used by the U.S. Military I am a combat vet of the U.S. Army 14 yrs 11 B.

 

 

The combat vehicles I would like to see are as listed.

1.M1A2 Abram MBT

 

2.M2/M3 Bradly Fighting Vehicle

well there is the list ladies and gents it be cool to see them in the game and to use them in the game in combat not to mention if you got a bunch of companions with you you can put them in these vehicles and helicopters to help you fight the good fight and go and help other settlements while your busy with a small squad of your own.

 

I know other players are sick and tired of looking at piece of s#*! looking 50s/60s looking crappy s#*! as well I mean dame its the future why can't we make it look like it instead of looking like s#*! .

Not to sound short, but have you actually tried searching Nexus? With regards to your uniforms question, there's a lot of uniform mods with everything from digi-cam to WWII uniforms.

yes and some don't have the real ones like I had when I was deployed what's your take on the vehicles though you think it would be cool to control these vehicles along with you companions?

But I doubt you'll find many modders who'd want to commit the time and effort to create the models/textures for modern vehicles...much less drivable ones at that. Most mods that feature drivable vehicles aren't extremely popular to start with...with exception for this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21899

Yeah, This game engine probably doesn't have the support for vehicles in that way. Vehicle mods seem to be limited with the physics. An alternative would be vehicles that are stationary, Like the APC one and used only as a form of Fast Travel, like the horse and Cart in Skyrim. A modder could probably re-skin some vertibirds to look more like a modern helicopter and do a couple of variants of ground vehicles using this method. But, it sounds like a lot of work.

 

Just curious, have you ever tried Arma 3? It might be a game more suited to your tastes. There are tons of mods for it too.

I can't play arma 3 or anything clost to what I went through in Afghanistan and Iraq due to my ptsd issues ill just get flash backs.

Almost no mod author is going to put modern looking vehicles in the game due to the lore- not to mention the time it would take to import new models into the game and other stuff. I would love to be able to drive one of the tanks in the game and one or two people were working on something similar last year, but, I have not seen anything from them yet. There are probably additional problems with it that I don't understand or know about.

 

Now, the uniforms can probably be done. But, again I don't think authors do it because of the lore of the game. Have you messed around with BodySlide and Gimp or PhotoShop at all? You could use the programs to create the uniforms you want and they are not terribly hard to learn.
