Kyrenjai
Since putting on the Mara Amulet, I've not seen Sapphire. Not in Bee & Barb--ground lvl or upstairs--Not in Flaggon or Cistern--not in Training Room or in her bed. Where might I look for her now? (This all after paying Shadr debt and having her tell me abit of her past). I've advanced time (T) key while in Cistern for over 24hrs and she nvr walked by. TY for any help. daventry
The Marriage System is Bugged, once you Marry your Spouse, she just walks off with the Guests while the Priest is still speaking, so by the time you leave the Building, she Vanish from the Game and so does Aela aswell. Tidus44
Have a read of this page http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Marriage There is some information on the marriage system which does seem to be relatively bugged. I didn't see Sapphire listed as a potential marriage partner on the list that is on the page identified above. Apparently if you use the console you can change this, but I advise caution as the console can cause problems. Look for addfaction or addfac in the console information on this web site - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console. It will identify how to add someone to the marriage list (like Sapphire) and any possible limitations to the console command. If you cannot find Sapphire, use the console command moveto and Sapphires BaseID 000C19A5 to find her. First, she may be in the thieves guild hall in the runway as she is a member. More info on her here http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Sapphire_%28NPC%29 Lastly, nice choice on a partner - always thought Riften girls were much "hotter" than those in other cities. Kyrenjai
I thank you for replying and providing this info. I didn't actually ask Sapphire to marry me (Yet--lol)--was just thinking about it and read somewhere to go get Mara Amulet and put it on. And you would get something like---you interested line. But as I said, haven't even seen Sapphire since then to even see if the line comes up. I'll look in the places you guys said look. TY
kryptopyr
If you want to avoid using the console, I have a mod that accomplishes the same thing (adding her to the appropriate faction). In addition, it adjusts her stats and gives her a few perks that make her a bit more stealthy...handy if you also want to use her as a follower. I've tried out the marriage quest with her using the mod, and it seems to work fine. Once I did get the common marriage bug where she left in the middle of the ceremony, but she just returned to the Cistern. Afterwards, when I caught up with her, I had her move into Honeyside without any problems.
SubjectProphet
You could use the console to set her ettensial level down, kill her using it, spawn her in front of you (in Riften for scripts) and there you go. Other than that, I've had a problem similiar to this on many other NPCs. My solution usually works for me.
xlcr
hi Kyrenjai, just wondering, why Sapphire? (Nord thief, Thieves Guild member).by game default she is not setup for marriage or designed to be a follower; just be aware, even using console commands or fancy marriage/follower mods she might not have all the follower action/dialog scripted, probably just the basic stuff and nothing unique, all NPC's have somekind of marriage dialog available but might be a different voice actress.__________________ Edited May 29, 2012 by xlcr

I agree that she isn't a default spouse or follower, so you will have to do something in order to make those options available. However, she does have one of the default follower voices, so she will have all the standard dialogue options that any other vanilla follower or spouse has and will respond to all the same requests/commands that you can give to other vanilla followers. It really doesn't matter whether you choose to do this using the console or through mods...she will use her own voice, not a different one, and should work just fine with any of the other mods out there that modify follower behavior. Kyrenjai
Good news/bad news....:) :( I located Sapphire but she is in a building with a lock that requires a key--the exit on door says...Whiterun!!! Can u even believe that :) It has stacks of wood and hay all around in it..1 double-bed on ground lvl--not owned--single bed in Loft--owned--she's sitting at a table and looks like she's been on a 3day drunk--Just kidding. Now, I know of only 1 House (Breezhome) that would require a key to get in...and if that is Breezhome--I don't think I'd want it lol. Is there another building that requires a key? Curiosity is killing me now. And why would Bethesda go do that to Miss Sapphire? xD Oh, forgot to mention----she was indeed interested and would follow...was just no way to get us out of that building. Please advize. xlcr
on a 3-day drunk lol, my kinda girl.. Sapphire's RefID is 000C19A5; so, as you know the console commands to move an NPC to your location is: prid 000C19A5moveto player out of curiousity, you should teleport to her location, exit that building and figure out where in Whiterun it is and who it belongs to. prid 000C19A5player moveto how in the world did Sapphire end in there? why doesn't she leave and go back to Riften?I hope her AI history and scripting isn't screwed up..as far as i know a majority of homes require a key and are locked at certain hours.
