SSE Looking for mod author

So, I tried to make a follower / companion mod for Skyrim called "Ralof the Blacksmith" which would have been a spinoff of my Ralph mods from Fallout. It was a complete fail, and I abandoned it. It didn't work properly, and I am not familiar enough with the lore to write enough quality lines. I am looking for an experienced mod author to make their own version of this mod (or something similar) and upload it to Nexus. This person can take most of the credit, and I will supply the lines that I do have and any voice acting that you may need. He or she can expand upon it or change it as much as they see fit. This would be your mod. Just make sure I get credit for the character idea. PM me if you're interested.

As your original post stands, this would be better suited under mod requests then this sub forum. That all said, there are some pretty reasonable tutorials for making followers, adding follower quest lines, and such either in the Nexus Modders Resource/Tutorial section of downloads or even on youtube. If you have mod experience with Fallout 4, Skyrim is really similar, so something like this could be a great launching point for getting your feet wet. This particular subforum is a great asset for bouncing technical ideas off of other modders for when you get stuck working on your own mod.

 

Other tips, you can take a look at some existing follower mods, and decompile everything to get a better understanding of how a particular mod author accomplished such a feat, most mod authors who are still active are genuinely helpful in passing the knowledge on. That said if you go that route, you'll want to make sure that you use what you see as a learning resource, then create your own work subsequently to avoid intellectual property theft. Followers and Companions aren't really my forte, but with enough time, effort, and a little patience anyone can pull off some amazing things with modding this game.
