ultimatehoshi
I have been trying for quite some time now to get my skyrim special edition modded. I use nexus mod manager and Loot and all that, but my game always crashes, or the first part of the game, the horses crash into the door and all the NPC's bodies are all stiff and no one moves. It's really frustrating because I just want to make a custom character with body sliders in the game. I don't want to have to make a body outside the game, then load the game to see if it's what I want. I want to make a sexy character with in game sliders. I don't feel like it should be this hard to just have that in game. I don't understand why modding this game is so difficult for me to do. I've modded other games before and it was not a problem. I honestly just wish I could pay someone to do it for me, or just physically show me what is going wrong at this point. My game crashes now even with all my mods off. I have modded my SSE before for things like followers and weapons and all that, but when it comes to modding my character, things just start breaking and I can't figure out why. This is the guide I followed to get my character creation to work. ===> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=738441187 It just didn't work for me and either it wouldn't launch, or it would crash or, 2 of the mods wouldn't work with each other. No matter what I did, I was never able to get the in-game sliders. I just don't under stand what is going wrong. It would be nice is someone could just use teamviewer and help me through the process that way or something like that.
Jeir
That guide, and all the mods it talks about, are for LE, not SE. If you install the mods it links, you will only have problems.RaceMenu is only in beta for SE, and does not have morphs (which is why there isn't a checkbox for morphs in BodySlide).I don't use ECE, but I think it has some body-altering sliders in it, although no way near the amount or quality of BodySlide. But, that is currently your only option if you are determined to only edit your character's body shape in-game.
ultimatehoshi
Thanks for the feed back. I was under the assumption that the guide was for SE. I guess my best bet is to got back to the standard Skyrim and start modding from there. Thanks again!
