Diablo 3 Asian servers crippled by bugs.

What a shame that such an excellent series went to crap on the third game. Aside from the stuff Bethesda has been known to pull at times, I've never seen such a blatant case of "Screw you fans, we do what we want!" in my 20+ years of computer game-playing. The only way I will ever play this is when it goes in the bargain bin.

I was a good sport about all the changes until the forced connection to the internet BS was revealed. I don't play Diablo online, period. I don't like being forced to be online to play single-player.

This combined with them trying to compete with cutesy-poo Asian MMOs for World of Warcraft (Mists of Pandera=Mists of Pokemon what with the training non-combat pets to fight duels) is just about to make me make a rude gesture at Blizzard and walk away for good.

I actually rather enjoyed the game. Wasn't as good as Diablo 2 or even Sacred 1, but I can't really say I was ever disappointed with the money spent on the game.

As for the always-online requirement, I was actually rather unphased by it. Release week was a bit annoying with the overloaded servers, but it's fine now. I've had a permanent internet connection to my PC for the last three years, and I can probably count the amount of days it wasn't connected to some form of internet in that time on my two hands. Doesn't bother me all that much.

Anyone who purchased a digital copy, can get a refund in 30 days. I logged about 60 hours in the game and still got a refund. The only positive about the whole diablo III experience was that they did give me a refund. I suggest others do the same if they bought a digital copy. I'd imagine after a few hundred thousand people like me start demanding refunds, they are going to quit doing it.

I didn't actually pay for Diablo III as I have a WoW annual pass, so I haven't lost anything buying the game, unlike others less fortunate. It must suck if you did have to pay for it.
