unable to scrap bushes with scrap everything D:

hey there!

 

so I won't mess around, I'm having mod trouble already, and I built a settlement at sunshine tidings. I built an entire bar and a house. but all of a sudden..BUSHES. they weren't there when I was building, and now I have the ugly shrubs and bushes all inside my buildings! i'ts driving me insane along with the other mod issues and constant crashing.

 

does anybody know how to get rid of them? I can't scrap them, and the invisible plants mod does absolutely nothing. I don't know why they just appeared, either. for environment mods, I have:

 

  • clean water of the commonwealth
  • cleaner all I none environment - cleaner AIO environment indoor and outdoor
  • cleaner settlements debris edition
  • green commonwealth - performance friendly grass mod
  • no ugly plants and more - invisible vines shrubs brambles grasses etc
  • regrowth - settlement larn mowing
  • spring in the commonwealth
  • springtime trees - heavyweight - optimized

so yeah..im probably having clashing mods or something..but these bushes are really getting to me. I can't build with them there D:

 

also I dunno why my text changed from pink to white but there we go XD

I may also need some help with other mods at some point. I'm having a lot of trouble lol

is scrap everything at the very bottom of your load order, if not it should be. also did you select the ultimate edition in the fomod installer, if not you should do xD

 

also download place everywhere mod if you dont have it already (you really should have it however if you like to create settlements, or do any form of house building, it is an absolute must have if not mandatory mod, for anyone interested in creating, building, settlements, in fact anything related to using the workshop. the options this very mod offers is magical)

so yea try the above first, and if it dont solve the problem, continue on below.

 

getting bushes inside building does sound like a mod conflict, and because they was not there before that is why scrap everything wont detect them, and likewise wont be able to scrap them, the only way to get rid of them, will be to disable pre-combined meshes, however this is highly not recommended, as it will cause severe framerate drops.

 

can you list all of your mods, you are currently using, so i can get a good understanding of how your game is setup. and to see if you have any mods that are potential conflicts.

bear in mind I have had no advice or been told how to properly arrange plugins and such, and thusly have made a bit of a mess of my game and can't figure out why my game keeps crashing. :wallbash:theres a lot that I don't use, since I just had such a close look at them. but yeah. ill list the mods in a separate thingy. I tried attaching screenshots to this fu--damn post and even though the files were under 250kb they kept saying they were too big..so..no choice but to spend another hour writing them by hand.

you can upload images to https://imgur.com then paste the link here. (on that site simply click on New Post *The Green Button at the top of the page* then on the window that pops up, simply click on browse, navigate to where your images are then, upload, once done, copy either the address or the the link that appears when the image is uploaded and paste said link or address here)

 

so yea do that now, i kinda need to know your active load order. takes images of your NMM plugins, and then paste here as per above line.

right first of all, ESM files should Always be up the very top of the load order, you have 3 mods that are above these, thats no good. all mods above AAF should be Placed Below it.

 

 

Continued - ( (Click on the *Show* button to view Content - the *Show* button is next to the word *Spoiler* click on it))

 

 

Low Priority: Any mod that has an ESM extension, and any mod that is designed to be overridden by other mods, such has community resource mods. other mods that should be plaed higher in the load order are Retexture Mods, Animation Mods, NPC overhauls, etc (Place these at the very top of the Load Order)

 

Medium Priority: Any Mod Related to Hair,Face and Body, Lighting Overhaul mods, Weather Mods, Bug Fixes, Gameplay Effects and Changes, Workshop Mods,, Custom Followers, that do not have a fully fledged quest attached to them <-- (Place these in the Middle of Your Load Order)

 

High Priority Mods: Anything you can craft in the Chemistry Lab or Armorsmith Workbench, New Weapon Mods, New Armor Mods, Power Armor Mods, Armorsmith Extended, New Quest Mods etc etc <-- (place these mods at the bottom of your load order)

 

Maximum Priority: Alternate Start Mods, Companion Framework mods (Such as Amazing Follower Tweaks), Mods that Edit Leveled Lists, Bash Patch (Should be the very last mod), and Scrapping Mods, also New Settlement mods, such as Custom Player Homes, Sim Settlements etc etc.

 

i can only give you a bases on where mods should be based on my own setup, i do not have any issue with my setup, and have maximum amount of mods.

 

you will need to help yourself, by completely understanding exactly what your mods do, as well as read information about them, some authors will tell you where their mod should be placed.

 

Note: ESM Files should always be the very first mods in the load order at the very top. also where is your Fallout4.esm file. i cannot see it in your list.

 

so here is a little help on what your load order should start to look like in order from top to bottom.

i have not had a single issue with that load order, which i manually sorted every single time i add a mod.

okay, so I spent like an hour rearranging my mods while at the same time trying to find a fix for the brown-face-no-eyebrows problem. now my face is just pitch black and I can see all the vertices lol oh well.

 

I can't thank you enough for your help!! you explained it in a way I could understand and follow. now I can refer back and learn how to properly arrange my mods and plugins ^-^

perhaps one day there will be a definitive fix for black/brown face. I used the brown face glitch workaround on here...very fiddly, very complicated. I got rid of the brown only to replace it with pitch black XD

 

still. that's a topic for another day! thank you SO much for helping me, I was convinced nobody would :D I -really- appreciate the time and effort. thank you ^-^ *big squeezy hugs!!* >w<

for the texture mismatch, this is caused by a number of things.

 

1. resolution mismatch, ie attempting to put say 1k tattoos on a 2k face texture for example (Looksmenu Customization Compendium, includes everything that could cause the infamous brown face/ black face bug, if placed on a high resolution face textures, such as 2k face textures, this includes, scars, face tattoos, eye brows, and face paint)

 

2. using a custom preset without having the required mods.

 

3. mod conflict, example looksmenu customization compendium, is not compatible with 2k face textures, also custom brows mods, are not compatible with 2k face textures, (custom brows have a high chance of causing said face texture color mismatch bug. a.k.a the infamous, brown face.)

 

4. Black face bug is caused by texture corruption and also the same as above, using custom brows, scars, tattoos etc etc for the face.
