Ancalagon
Ok, I've scoured the entire area between Maar Gann, Bal Isra (or my stronghold ^_^ ) and Ald Ruhn. Hannah's Whereizit answer (It's Northwest of Ald Ruhn!!!) is not cutting it since I don't have the paper map or any sense of direction, for that matter. Somebody give me better directions please, I would appreaciate it...
thanateros
Ok, I just did this quest and it took me a while to find it too. You have, undoubtly been searching in the Ashlands region for it, where you will never find it. Rather travel West from Ald Ruhn until you reach the path that leads through the West Gash (running north between Hla Oad and Gnissis. Once you reach the fork in the road turn north, but only for a few seconds. You should see, behind a fence along the trail another trail that branches off of it. Follow that trail (it's kinda long) until you reach the annoyingly well hidden Milk.
Acoran
THere is a helpful tool for those problems, it is called Maps of MOrrowind, it take about and hour and a half to set up but you can then find any place very easly. Try searching Google for it.
Le Santyr
Or you could maybe BUY the game and get the map
Peregrine
Which still doesn't provide the full detail you need to find every single minor place.
Malchik
Actually the map that comes with the game is only of use for finding ruins. Caves and tombs it hardly helps with. The UESP map on the other hand is a quick way of getting detailed info and takes moments to access.
Hsc
Or you could maybe BUY the game and get the map :rolleyes:Well, the map is not always part of the game package. When I bought my version a couple of months ago, it was just the CD in a nice DVD case. No map, no booklet. But it was not expensive (14.99 EUR). It seems to be part of a special "nice price" series under the label "Ubi Soft eXclusive".
Le Santyr
Okay I'll take it back, I find the map useful though, if somethings not on the map maybe people were supposed to find it my looking in the game as a reward... If the map had "Amazing sword here" "Vampire clan here" the game would be no fun at all would it!! Just on my own little crusade to stop piracy on chuffin good games ;) Copy owt else u want just not Morrowind ;) Think I'm turnin into a purist.... ^_^
Dagger of Symachus
I don't mean to change the thread, but you don't have to kill the poor old man. You can go speak to Llerar in Ebonheart (Sarethi mentions you should speak to Arethan Mandas' father). Llerar tells you that Mandas went mad after Divath Fyr kidnapped his daughter. You can then go to Tel Fyr and save girl. If you talk to Fyr, he doesn't really care and luckily the lock to get to the girl is only lock level 50. She is just in the main tower. Once you lead her to the entrance, she gives you a locket to give to her father. Then visit Milk and give Arethan the locket. He will stop paying tributes. This is far better as you get a better reward, a high reputation increase in House Redoran, and all councilors will like you more (helping you when you want to be Archmaster). Malchik
DoS, did anyone suggest you had to kill him? And what if you are not in Great House Redoran? You can free the girl from Tel Fyr anyway and she gives you her locket but Sarethi does not talk of it unless you are Redoran. Perhaps you can use the locket on Llerar Mandas or the guy in Milk. I have not yet tried it so cannot say. Moving to spoilers.
