lolbored Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Topic says it all. Almost done but I want to know how to put a version number on it?
Staind716 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 It's really simple. When you upload it there will be a spot to type in any version number you want. You'll see it when you upload.

I have no clue where to go with this.
Staind716 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 You could just start at 1.0a for your alpha, 1.0b for the beta, then go to 2.0 for your final version. Just a suggestion. :)
lolbored Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 oh perfect ok then i will go that route thanks!
jet4571 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Or just plain 1.0 for the first release, minor updates 1.0.1, major updates 1.1. test updates for beta testing a feature before doing the whole main file should have the version number of the main file with a b on the end. a completely unfinished new feature that you want tested should have an a at the end. atleast thats how I do it and its easy for me to remember.
