Kyuukei
Pretty simple. Basically, I'd like a mod where you can disenchant an item without destroying it if you already know its particular enchantment(s). That way, we can upgrade our preferred primary weapons and gear cumulatively as our Enchanting skill improves, instead of having to make/find new ones each time a perk is invested in it. Thanks very much to anyone who does this - been bugging the hell out of me. Edited May 31, 2012 by Kyuukei
Grimoa
Search for "disenchant" that turns up some mods. This one is probably the closest to whta you are asking. Edited May 31, 2012 by Grimoa
pbehhe
you have to change a couple of other things for it to fit lore, for example I remember reading a book and in it I read of the rule of first enchant that means that you can only enchant something once so you should change that as well and so on. Kyuukei
Search for "disenchant" that turns up some mods. This one is probably the closest to whta you are asking. That mod, while cool, has absolutely nothing to do with what I requested.
Grimoa
>.< sorry. That happens when doing to much at the same time. I had a particular mod in mind and only skimmed thorugh the description of the mod I linked and thought it was that one. Try this. Note: I'm not using it, so I can't vote for how it performs. Kyuukei
Much closer to what I had in mind, yes, but most of the stuff I'd use this on isn't vanilla (plus, according to the comments, this one is pretty unstable).
rider116
I found a way, sorry to be posting after 2 years but will be good for people who are also searching it on google (like me for example). Use CreationKit, there is a simple explanation what you need to do: 1 - Open the program 2 - Select "File" 3 - Select "Data" 4 - The plugin window will now open, select the mod and then select "Set as Active File". 5 - Click on "Details ..." 6 - Now search for "WEAP" on the new window and note the name of the weapon 7 - Close the "File Details" window and click OK in the "Data" window 8 - In the "Object Window" put the name of the weapon on "Filter" 9 - Click on edit and "Enchanthing" put "NONE" and "Enchantment" place 0 10 - Click OK and then click Save in the "File" tab. Sorry for my bad english.. I think :geek: Oh I almost forgot, disenchant the item to learn the enchantment before you modify it Edited January 9, 2014 by rider116
