JimboUK
Weird. Anyway open a command prompt (hit start, enter CMD into the search box and hit enter). At the prompt try entering regsvr32 msvcr100.dll
ZacBrown94
this is what the window said The module "msvcr100.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServerwas not found. Make sure that "msvcr100.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again Thats what came up
JimboUK
I'm at a loss to be honest. Try this, copy (don't move) the DLL from the Windows\System folder to the game folder, if that doesn't work try copying the one found in the Windows\SysWOW64 folder to the game folder. ZacBrown94
Should the .dll file be with the fallout new vegas.exe or the scr folder?
ZacBrown94
Okay no error came up. it started Fallout but do i always have to start fallout through it? or can i just start it normally now?
JimboUK
NVSE should start on its own, to check it's working in game enter GetNVSEVersion in to the console, it should return a value, if it does it's working.

ZacBrown94
One more thing. It works fine if i start it off the NVSE loader but not the original fallout loader
LusifurTheSchnozzle
Yes; you're supposed to use the NVSE_loader.exe instead of the original fallout exe. If you're running through Steam, you can make a steam shortcut to it.
