checking for update failed (1.15.7 & 1.15.8)

I started Vortex 1.15.7 up to find this error being reported as a notification.

 

Thinking since it couldn't determine if I had an old version or not, that I'd never get an update again, I went to github and found a new release and manually installed it.

 

I started 1.15.8 up to see the exact same error. So, is anyone else seeing this? I haven't changed anything with my Vortex stuff. So, I'm not sure why I'd be the only one seeing this issue.
