uhmattbravo
So I have a bit of experience modeling and animating with blender 2.49b for Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Oblivion and i'm interested in learning how to obtain that level of customizability to my SSE experience as well. Unfortunately, the nifscripts I have for 2.49b don't provide export options for either Skyrim. I understand that there's likely differences with how things work between SSE and the games i'm used to working on, but my first concern is what's the best method to get a model i've made (or just animated) into SSE using free software like Blender. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
M48A5
Search GOOGLE for Blender 2.79 or 2.80. There are tutorials listed in the search results. The last I read (awhile ago) there were no NifSkripts available for Blender 2.79, but there was a work-around. By know, there probably is NifSkripts for 2.79. Check out the Blender site for that. uhmattbravo
Well, I found something. It pretty much says that it's all experimental, but i'm going to give it a try. Thanks.
aonach
Well, I found something. It pretty much says that it's all experimental, but i'm going to give it a try. Thanks. I'm im the same boat. Trying to get modelling with Blender in the now, and unable to locate what I need to get me set up. All of the "official" information now seems to be inaccurate. Were you successful in getting Blender to import/modify/export .nif files? If so, would you be willing to share your wisdom with me?
