What Morrowind monster is scariest?

I know he isn't actually a monster but M'aiq the khajit really freaked me out talking about naked liches. Also when I was in a tomb that I though was empty because all the bonelords were actually floating around behind me.

But in all seriousness to the thread, I find corprus creatures the scariest, mainly because of the sounds the make, but out of the two, I find the lame corprus a little more scary. It reminds me of the elephant man, minus the sparkling personality of course.

Anything which I don't notice until it has hit me.

 

One thing I encountered that creeped me out was the shadows that Baladas' Daedroth was projecting into the hallways below.

Im not really afraid of any monster, BUT i have been surprised on many occasions. (Always those damn cliff racers, sometomes corpus)

 

here's the ones i would fear though.

Ugh, I hate those darn zombie-like bosmers. Annoying, and kind of strong too.

 

I find the Ascended Sleepers to be the most scariest of them all. They're large, scary, and not to mention dangerous.

Cliffracers are not only the scariest by appearing outa nowhere, but the most irritating. So much so, that I made a mod ... Cliffracer Shooting Tower ... where you get unique items as prizes for their racerplumes.

While not scary per se, I found Bull Netches to be intimidating when I first started playin'. I especially found them intimidating when I tested one with a level 2 character. One of those will kick your ass in a big hurry if you're at a low level. Even with higher-level characters,, there are other things I'd rather pick on.

Oh, I second that. I was absolutely terrified of approaching one when I saw it floating about for the first time ever. It was only after saving that I had enough guts to try attacking it. I was playing an Argonian character at the time and had no idea that Bull Netches only use poison attacks... Needless to say, I felt a bit silly when I became overconfident and got soundly destroyed by a Betty.

As far as scariest creatures, the trophy would definitely go to the Dreugh. There's nothing more frightening than going for a swim only to come face-to-face with a crab-squid-human hybrid. They are fast and strong and unless you're packing some decent gear or a water walking spell, you're seafood.
