StormHammer81
sajuukkhar9000 I would not say exactly that both the Imperials and Stormcloaks are right. I agree with everything you've said except that. Truly, the cosmic forces of Ye Olde Days will use whoever wins to their purpose. But that is them and we are not Gods. For us mortals or non-Gods there will be consequences for whoever wins. Edited July 7, 2012 by bigmagy1981
sajuukkhar9000
That's the point of the dragonbreak, during a dragonbreak the Jills of Akatosh pick and choose whatever parts of the timelines they want to be true. It is how Mannimarco went from being a god at the end of Daggerfall into being a mortal in Oblivion, the Jills denied his ascension. The fate of the empire of man will be whatever the gods want it to be, the end result will be the same no matter which side wins. StormHammer81
sajuukkhar9000 I can see you are a person of faith :D However, no man can serve two masters and a house divided against itself can not stand. If Talos made the Empire, then it is his work. Therefore I would conjecture, any force wishing to destroy the Empire of Talos, or intent on destroying his work, is not a force of Talos. This includes the Thalmor and people such as Titus Mede II. While he won the Battle of Red Ring, he went against the will of Talos by forcing Hammerfell out of the Empire. sajuukkhar9000
I'm actually atheist. Also, Lorkhan had three avatars, Tiber, Ysmir, and Zurin, and Lorkhan made Tiber and Zurin kill Ysmir, and then have Tiber betray Zurin. Lorkhan made himself kill himself, then betray himself. Going against The Empire that he founded means nothing. The 8 gods an the missing 9th will do whatever it takes to ensure Mundus survives, even if it is detrimental to them. StormHammer81
sajuukkhar9000 Ahh ok then. But Talos isn't an avatar he's a God. He's not Lorkan either. They are different entities. "According to legend, Lorkhan died long ago, giving his life to create Nirn. As such, he has not had much direct influence over events of the Third Era..." Going against The Empire that he founded means nothing. God or othewise, destroying the Empire means destroying Talos's work. God or othewise, destroying the Empire means destroying Talos's work. And Lorkhan and Sithis aren't the same either? Please. Talos is Lorkhan reborn, the combination of three avatars into one. Michael Kirkbride, one of the series foremost lore writers, confirms that Talos is an avatar of Lorkhan. And why should Talos care that he is destroying his own work to save the mortal realm? The empire has fallen many times, the Mede empire is a different empire then the Tiber Empire, the Empire we fight isn't even his really. StormHammer81
Ahhh there it is. :) Again my people I say unto you: "A House Divided Against Itself Shall Not Stand." "Should Satan Drive Out Satan?" :D All I know is, Talos, who is a God, he wasn't but earned his place as a Divine, came to Tamriel and created "The Empire of Talos" or "The Empire of Tamriel". It was his life's work and he felt very strongly about it. The Thalmor are mad at him because of it. However Talos was created, he is a Divine now, an God entity in his own right, so I follow Talos and try to do his will. And one way in which I can do that, is to protect his work and for my part, I shall continue to do so. Doesn't mean the Empire shouldn't be reformed, but certainly not drug behind the barn and shot. That's Not what he would want. Later!!! Edited July 8, 2012 by bigmagy1981
sajuukkhar9000
Actually The Thalmor are mad as Talos because Talos is Lorkhan, and according to Altmeri religion Lorkhan is their jailor who keeps them bound to the mortal plane that they hate so much. StormHammer81
Well, in the spirit of Elf-Orc relations, my Orc would like to volunteer to assist the Thalmor with getting themselves *Unbound* from this mortal plane !!! :) Yeah... He's a real "Humanitarian" hehehehehehehehe Edited July 8, 2012 by bigmagy1981
sajuukkhar9000
The Thalmor would never accept an Orc. The Thalmor view Orcs as worthless, degenerate, Mer, who are nothing better then goblin slaves.
