Random CTD

I keep randomly getting crashed to desktop and have to restart steam in order to get the game to start back up again. Here is my load order; I also tired to verify my game files through steam. It said one file way missing and that it would get it back, but I am still CTD. It is random, I don't seem to be doing the same thing each time. Some times I can only play for a few mins, sometimes I can play for an hour. Its driving me crazy.

Oh and I'm just playing on the normal skyrim not the SE version my poor system can't take that one..HAHA

ok first and most importantly

YOU CAN NOT USE THAT MANY MODS WITH OUT A BASHED PATCH file from Wrye - https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2235394-beginners-guide-to-modding/ - ALL OF STEP 2 mainly but in your case you should do the entire guide

Secondly, you are using the wrong unofficial patches for the DLC's you should be using the legendary patch - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71214

Third

these files should be loading AFTER the highres pack files

ClimatesOfTamriel.esm=1
ApachiiHair.esm=1
The Paarthurnax Ultimatum.esp=1

so it should look like this instead

Skyrim.esm=1
Update.esm=1
Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp=1
Dawnguard.esm=1
Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp=1
HearthFires.esm=1
Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp=1
Dragonborn.esm=1
Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp=1
HighResTexturePack01.esp=0
HighResTexturePack02.esp=0
HighResTexturePack03.esp=0
Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp=0

ClimatesOfTamriel.esm=1
ApachiiHair.esm=1
The Paarthurnax Ultimatum.esp=1

also don't make the same mistake that most beginner's make which is, just because a mod is not enabled does NOT mean that resources won't be used by the game, any mod you have disabled can still be accessed by the game. The ONLY way to avoid this is to fully UNINSTALL the mod(s) - which in this case are those high res packs

HAHA I forgot all about LOOT, even had an old version still installed on my system. Its been 2 years or so since I started up skyrim on here... ok since I started it up at all.

Got my disabled mods uninstalled, working on get loot and the other steps done.

So the RichMerchantsSkyrim that I was using gave me a red check mark, so I removed that mod and tried a different one. It gave me a green check mark but on the right hand side under masters it had a red check mark. Not to sure what to do.....

red usually means a missing master file, another mod that it needs to run, check the description page for the mod that is giving you a red checkmark, for any requirements, also a pic would be helpful of the list you mean

one other thing, if you click the mod with the red check mark in NMM it will tell you what is wrong with it, usually, on the "plugins" tab of NMM
