KorTheRed
So im on my 1st full uninstall / resintall fixing my broken skyrim starting fresh.. so im going mod to mod making sure game works and everything.. and ive started to notice a pattern... every couple of mods I add somehow i always get skyrim(not responding) when opening skyrim, when loading a save, when map travelling.. whats the deal with this for real? every few mods this happens? i gota do this huge work around just to fix it and that only fixes it MOST of the time.. things like SMIM i couldt fix and have to remove completely for real whats the deal here? what is actually causing this? ive checked the pages these mods should be completely compatible with each other so i dont understand why its messing with me. the latest mods ive added areMerps gondorian aramamentMystical illumination - glowing signs and yes I use Loot and NMMim 99% sure its the glowing sign ones messing with me the same way that SMIM did... i have 12gb of ramsomething like 700gbs of free space...MSI gaming motherboard..GTX 980 and nvidia (idk if their the samething or what) I RARELY go over 30fps even when my skyrim was broken with the 255 plugins all 4k texture crap, the only times I would go over 30 itd spike for maybe a second or two then go right back down and itd never spike over 40 or 50so i shouldt be having problems adding textures to the game right? not a memory issue
gromulos
and yes I use Loot and NMM is only 28% of what you need to run skyrim, you also need, in order of importance 1) skse - http://skse.silverlock.org/2) SKYui - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38633) Wrye Bash / Smash - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18404) TesVEdit - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859 and lastly my own guide to help you fully utilize everything together https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2235394-beginners-guide-to-modding/ also a HUGE mistake you are making ( from what you typed ) is every time you install mods you should be rebuilding the bashed patch from Wrye, if you're not even using a bashed patch, that ONE problem right there will break EVERY play through as long as you use more than 3 or 4 mods Edited August 15, 2018 by gromulos
KorTheRed
I use skse skyUI and loot and all the other things except wyrebase and tesVeditdidt know bout the wyre bash thing tbh, but thats what i mean though.. im at 190 plugins now and its all good up to a point so far.. i mean i dont really have any saved games at this point since i did full uninstall... so does wyre bash make it so u can add mods to a saved game without it breaking and get that not responding thing? cause I still get the not responding during opening of skyrim for a split second is that just a normal mod thing? or is it full on broken again
gromulos
Wrye and TesVEdit will tell you if there is anything wrong with your load order like if your missing a file, or if a file has the masters out of order, the not responding issue is exactly what they can fix when used together and properly
