Adding new plugin groups

I started a new setup today as I wanted to try the OMEGA AIO. One of the requirements, again, was to install the modified MLU.esp as low as possible in the load order but before the 'Late Loaders' as these may still need to override the new MLU.esp.

 

No problem I thought, just add a new group before 'Late Loaders' and put anything needed into the new group. I managed in the end, with a restart of Vortex, but I have black circles on my new 'OMEGA' group and 'Realistic Water' and green lines instead of grey. There is no key to say what this means. I had to restart Vortex to see the new group in the dropdown list even after reopening the 'groups' popout. I had to try multiple times to drag a line from the new group and then found one I had dragged that disappeared had succeeded but was not shown until a restart of Vortex. I also found a link looping back to the same node.

 

I managed to produce what I wanted. LOOT did what I asked for. But it was not the straight forward experience I was hoping for :sad: .

 

One last thought, would it be possible to add a 'take screenshot' of any window that could be added to a feedback report? I would have liked to collect images but without a context with the logs that are produced I cannot see them having any value.
