Meatloafmountain
I've just finished going through each mod in my list to find out what waa causing the game to crash (turns out, 2 out of 3 actually said "appears corrupt") but now I have another issue. Fallout 4 starts, but now the further away I am from my save point - Sanctuary Hills - the less likely there is to have a locatiin...appear. Egret Tours Marina had walls missing, and the green house settlement was missing everything except two power lines and a lantern. Since I'm typing this out on my phone, I want to keep listing to a minimum but here is my Player Settlement mods: Better Stores 1.3.5Better Vendor Stalls 3.2Build Limit Enhanced 1.1Child Settlers 1.12Infinite Settlement Budget 1.2Homemaker - Expanded Settlements 1.55Immersive Teleportation 1.9.7Robot Home Defense 1.50Scrap Everything (DLC) 2.4Settlement Keywords Expanded 1.56Settlement Objects Expansion Pack 1.5.8 Sim Settlements 3.2.1Rise of the Commonwealth 3.3.2Industrial Revolution 3.3.3 The two settlements I visited were NOT built with Sim Settlements. If you need more mods from other categories, I'll type them out. Thank you!
Undeadbob666
If you are using more than 249 mods, this may happen. If not then it might be somesort of texture issue maybe? Is this a new issue and how long have you been playing without the issue, if you added any new mods to a existing playthrough then this can also cause issues. Meatloafmountain
No, there are no new mods from last successful play. What changed was a random "update" to Fallout 4 which then crashed the game until I went through each mod. I only have about 110 mods, and gameplay improved dramatically when I turned off the Texture Pack.
Undeadbob666
You can turn off cloud save, by right clicking fallout and going to properties in steam, then local files (I think) and there is a pull down menu and you can change when the game auto-updates. I have rarely found anything useful in the updates, unless you like creation club content.
Meatloafmountain
I'll have to wait to be back on Wi-Fi before setting that, I guess. Anything I can try for the problem now, other than going through every mod again?
