deadm8s
I'm trying to fix the pink hands glitch that's currently happening with my unplayable race saves, I'm aware that it has to do with assigning the textures to the correct places but I'm not sure that'll make a difference seeing as how I intend to transfer said saves to the Xbox from PC, I've been able to successfully do this with Oblivion in the past (Unplayable race saves on Xbox) so I know It's possible, I suppose I just want to know if there's a way to fix the pink hand permanently? For more clarification I intend to use mods that use vanilla race mods (making them playable) then to disable them for use on the Xbox, this is the method I used for Oblivion. dubiousintent
If you had been around the forum for a while you would realize that there are only a few of us who have the experience to provide help. This is an 8 year old game. Most experienced players have moved on to other games. Give it at least 24 hours for a response. Please see the 'Solutions to Mesh (Red "!" icon) or Texture (solid color) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Pink parts of the body indicate missing texture files. This can come from combining two mods which use different textures for the same body part, and the "wrong" texture file was installed last. A "compatibility patch" is the usual solution.See the wiki article "How to fix hard-coded texture paths in NIF files" for the procedure to locate the texture file entry within NifSkope. (The path needs to be "relative" instead of "absolute"/"hard-coded" in order to be found on various installation locations, which is what that article covers.) But in short form the procedure is:* Open the NIF file in NifSkope.* Click on the part you want the texture for; it will highlight it in the Block list.* Expand it and highlight BSShaderPPLightingProperty. Expand that.* Highlight BSShaderTextureSet.* In Block Details you will see textures (DDS files). Expand it.* There you will see the paths to the textures used by that mesh.-Dubious-

deadm8s
Also when I click on the NifSkope link it tells me the page cannot be found, any ideas?
dubiousintent
Sorry, I have no experience with an XBox nor porting anything to it or any console game. (I'm strictly a PC gamer.) I would expect that as long as all the resource files were present it ought to work, but my expectations have been broken many times before. "Worth it" is a personal judgement call I can't make for you. What I do know is that mod authors get very upset about someone porting their mods to the XBox without getting their explicit permission to do so. It's considered "intellectual property theft" and a copyright violation. It's an offense that can get you banned from Nexus at least. -Dubious-

But I understand your trepidation, I could be completely wrong and I might get banned, regardless I'll attempt it, thanks for the help.
M48A5
What you do in your game, with your equipment, is no one's business but your own. That being said, you cannot upload ported content unless it is allowed by the game publisher.
