Just bringing this utility to attention: it's called Dragon Age Mod Wrangler, and it basically serves as a .dazip installer (such as DAModder) but for the Apple Mac. It was apparently created by a guy called Kandahr at the Bioware website in order to help us Mac users install those pesky .dazip files on our machines. I can't supply a direct link (because the one on Bioware Social is broken), however you can find links by searching on Google. I downloaded it from mac.softpedia.com, and it works fine for me. Hopefully this will help fellow Mac users who have had difficulty installing .dazip files in the past.Thanks for reading, and thanks to Kandahr.
