TheTrickyX
So i've downloaded Skyrim 1.5 version and it keeps crashing. So i decided to reinstall it. It worked but i still want somekind of update. And wich update do you prefer? Which is the "Best One" for you?
micalov
Depends on the version of the game you downloaded tbh, these crashed are they happening on the version of Skyrim tied to steam by any chance?

PsxMeUP
I didn't know Steam let you "choose" whichever update you want...
TheTrickyX
When i downloaded 1.5 it started crashing. I didn't know why so i went to check out some forums(steam forum etc.) and they were all saying that the new version sucks because when they go in water or every 10 - 20 of gameplay game crashes. So i can't have that one. So im asking. Which one is the best one besides 1.5.
thompsonar
Those water crash issues were caused by a mod I thought. I have no idea how you expect to install a previous version but I would guess just go back to 1.4. 1.5 works great for me and is the best one so far in my opinion. Stemin
The water crashes were caused because Bethesda made a nice overhaul of the water textures in the game. I don't know how it effected PC's, but on the consoles, deleting your game data and patching it again solved the problem. It was a very simple fix and we got really tired of listening to people complaining about it. But Bethesda is pretty much limited to a patch file on consoles. Don't know why they shouldn't be able to modify all the appropriate files on a PC.
