Weird looking mountain textures

Hi folks

After fiddeling around with some mods on my own, I wanted to follow a guide to a multiple modded NV. This is the modlist I am following with my setup: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65199

Unfortunately I've got some strange behaviours after finishing the group "BaseTextures/MeshPacks" in which the NMC Texture Pack is included for example.

In the attachement you can see a picture of the weird looking mountains in my game

As you can see, the mountains have some kind of a metal building texture.

I've tried to uncheck all installed mods, but even in vanilla game I have this behaviour now.

I am using NV on a Win 10 64bit machine with all DLC. For installing mods I use the Mod Organizer.

Thanks for help in advance!

Usually the result of changing textures without toggling Archive Invalidation. I don't use MO, so I can't explain how to do it in MO.

Did you also make the game Large Address Aware as stated on the NMC mod page?

If you add any VWD/LOD textures (such as NMC or Ojo Bueno), please see the 'Checklist Item #15 & 16' entries in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide regarding the need to run both TES4LL and FNVLODGen. Also recommend you read the 'LOD/VWD Texture Packs' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article first.

Please see the'ArchiveInvalidation (by Manager)' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.
