RunnyGnome
MH:W has a very limited FOV option (camera distance), but this only increases the value very slightly. Can somebody make a mod to increase the field of view further, ala the Dark Souls FOV fix? I think this would help decrease motion sickness for people affected by it, and make fighting large monsters like Nerg less aggravating. Thanks! wyxsg
Seconding this request. I honestly thought this would be one of the first mods to surface, and I'm quite surprised it hasn't been done yet. I hope it's possible!
Sablicious
Yeah... I too could go for some custom FOV and camera distance mods. Failing that: a mod that allows for controller-based camera zooming -- as distinct from having to enter the 'pause' menu to accomplish thus. pudimdeuva
That would make the game become a 10/10 for me. i shall tip anyone that pulls this off :)
TheRyderShotgun
this. so much. maybe something like the camera for mounting monsters being the standard camera, i want my hunter to be a speck on my screen lol.
benzoingum
it can be done via memory editing with cheat engine. i had it working but updates broke the values, i will reacquire the addresses and post a table here. note that the values only effected camera distance, not fov edit - here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/file/35clhqjd6ax99d1/Cam.CT/fileattach the table to monster hunter, go into a quest/expedition, toggle the script and change the camera values to your liking. turn the script off while in the hubs and when a hunt is complete, the game will crash if the script is enabled during a loading screen. doesn't break anything to my knowledge, tho i'm not sure how stable the script itself is. you will almost certainly need to have the "stealth edit" plugin for cheat engine, but i'm pretty sure i'm not allowed to directly link to that so you'll have to google that one Edited January 25, 2019 by benzoingum
