Georgiegril
Well, I haven't looked there for a long time, but you could pm the author if there isn't any list on the readme, they might be able to give you specific files to look for. If you go on to Steam, then click on games library. Find Skyrim and right click, the click on Properties (at the bottom of the list) This will bring up a little window with tabs. Click on Local files, then the third choice is verify cache. What this does is replace missing or corrupted files with the original. It may not help, but it could if your un-installation missing files or corrupted files. (and those could cause a CTD as you describe). The thing about the workshop, your mods there update automatically. So those mods any have changes something that caused a conflict, and you would think nothing had changed. Also, if a mod is no longer supported there, it will just get yanksed from your list, and that too can cause issues. That's why I prefer not using it. You might check your workshop mods before finally assigning the problem to Elseweyr.
Stryder180
I have figured out that Tytanis is the cause of my CTD problem, and that The Asteria mod is causing me to freeze in the loading screen of the game when loading places within the Skyrim overworld. I've already tried verifying the cache, as well as cleaning my save with a 31 day wait period, but whenever I have Tytanis installed I crash in all of the aforementioned places. Also, The Asteria mod is starting to act up. Whenever that is activated, it causes me to freeze within the loading screens. Specifically, it freezes the game only when I load a save in the Skyrim Overworld. I can load a game from, say, inside the Riverwood Trader and have no problem doing anything, as the Riverwood Trader doesnt CTD from Tytanis. I can then head outside into Riverwood and hang out, because Riverwood doesnt crash from Tytanis. However, at this point, If i were to save and quit, then load my game at a later time IN RIVERWOOD, then I would freeze in the loading screen, but not CTD, due to the Asteria. Its mind boggling, and it took a long time, but i've diagnosed the problem mods. Any further suggestions as to what to do to stop this?

Well, I am having the same problem, but without Asteria or Tytanis. I fixed the Moonpath CTDs by checking off Midas Magic, so you can try that. Hope it helps ya.
