Thomas woke up at 6 in the morning. He looked over and saw Laraine sleeping with her head on his chest. The memorys of the previous night returned and hit him like an arrow. He got out of bed and put on his black hooded robe. Then he walked outside. The sun was just about to rise. The sky was a dark pink and the water was a crystal blue. He walked around seeing if anyone was awake. Everybody was still sleeping. He walked to the steering wheel and took control. Then something cuaght his eye. It was a tree. Then a rock. Then some dirt. The water got shallower. He had reached the island. He steered the boat in between some rocks. Then got out and tied it to a few trees. He walked around and explored the island. It was fairly large for an island. A liitle bit bigger than vivec city. It had very little trees. But there was a large mountain in the center of the island. The mountain overlooked a large grassy plain. That is where we will build the town. Thomas thought to himself. And we will biuld the fort on the top of the mountain. He walked to the mountain and began to climb it.

Renkii was awakend by the stopping of the boat. He sat in the little cabin for a few minutes, cleaning his teeth, straightening hsi clothes, and making himself presentable. Then, he left his room, and went ashore. I wonder if there are any burial tombs or ruins here, he thought. So he headed off, went around the island, and, seeing none along the shore, he headed inland, towards the mountain, the second most liely place for such things. He could tell right off that, most likely, there would be very little ruins, as they are usually quite visible. As he got closer to the mountain, he noticed Thomas scaling the mountain with apparent ease, and he thought it best not to distract him. So, he just kept to the bottom of the mountain, and began going around it, looking for a tomb of some sort. At last, he found the entrance to a cave. It was not the usual entrance to a tomb, and he would not have entered if not for the strange ancient nordic symbols inscribed on a rock at the entrance. He, fortunately, had studied the major ancient languages of Tamriel, and could make out what it said, although he was a bit rusty, and had to guess on a couple of words. Gurnthrand Ancestral Tomb, Last Resting Place Of Vvrinthar Gurnthrand, Family, And (strange characters were here, ones that he had never seen before, and guessed it was a name known to him and those in his time, and was in some strange code). Woe To The Man Who Removes (the same strange symbols) From Its Rightful Place In The Hands Of Vvrinthar. Renkii worried not, however, for he was not here to loot tombs, only to document them. He had a book he was writing, entitled "A Guide to the Tombs of Morrowind". He slipped on his ring, and entered. He then pulled out his booka nd wrote about where it was, and exactly inscribed what was on the stone. He then entered the cave, and found a door. He entered, and explored around in invisibility, not wanting to disturb the guardians. There was the usual ghosts, skeletons, and bone lords. He went further and discovered a large pool, with a ship in the middle of it, in the usual nordic style. He swam out to it, climbed aboard, and saw the corpse of the nord, armor still on him, shield nearby, and on his chest in his folded hands was a monstrous axe, the likes of which he had never seen before. It glowed still with enchantment, but he dared not tough the ancient relic. He merely documented everything, and drew a detailed picture of it. He then went below tr\hrough a trapdoor, and found several other skeletons, though not in armor. And family, he thought. Some of the bodies were small, and could not have died at the same time as he. They were killed and buried along with him, he thought. Fascinating. He then left the boat, the cave, and returned to where Thomas and Grifion were about to split up. Hello to you both! he said. No doubt you're about to go scout, so i thought i'd telll you, there is an ancient nordic burial cave at the bottom of this mountain, over yonder. I'd advise you both to not go into it, unless undetectable, and whatEVER you do, don't take the enormous axe from his hands, or I'm sure your death will come swifter than necessary.

Thomas had made it up halfway through the mountain. When he notieced a small hole with light coming through it. He crawled inside and the light became brighter. He walked down a small passageway and into what seemed to be a shrine. Inside the small shrine was a skeleton leaned up against a large chest. In the skeletons right hand was a note. And in the left hand was a key. Thomas read the note.

To who it may concern

If your reading this right now then your probably the captain of a ship who is checking out this mountain. I too was once a captain. But then one night while my crew and I were sleeping. A storm crept up on us. The ship crashed into this island.

And I am the only one who survived the crash. I only made it out with one of the crates. The crate is very important. It belongs to one of the commanders in the imperial legion. His name is Thomas Hampton. A breton and a very good ruler.

There are 3 things in this crate. 1. his favorite black hooded robe 2. His favorite book. and 3. his birthday present from King Helseth. It appears that none of these items will ever reach him. Damn I wish he had some food in there. Oh well it is not long now. I can hear something coming. I am not sure what it is. But its shadow is huge. Wait oh GOD! THATS!

Thomas had a large smile on his face. I was wondering if the king forgot my birthday. Lets see what this present is. Thomas took the key and opened the chest with it. Inside was an ebony longsword, and another note. The note was from the King.

Dear Thomas

Happy Birthday! This sword has been made from the finest ebony in morrowind. It took a team of 100 men to make this sword. Its name is The Commander. It is sharper than any axe. Yet faster than any dagger. It weighs 1 pound. And NEVER breaks. I hope you enjoy this sword. You know you used to be a very talented swordsman. But when you were recruited into the legion you had to use hand to hand. I hope you enjoy this.

Sincerly King Helseth

Thomas put his new sword in its sheath. Then strapped it to his back. He went outside and continued climbing the mountain. When he reached the top he could see the entire island. It was beautiful. The water was a crystal blue. There were no signs of creatures. The trees created a barrier around a large grassy field at the foot of the mountain. And the sky was full of white fluffy clouds. This will be rogue island.

Grifion looked back at the area where she had planted the seeds, and turned back to the ship. Thinking about the thing she had to take care of the next day. She saw Thomas up on the mountain and it reminded her of something. She rushed back to the ship.

Thoma decided to return to the ship. He carefully slideded down the side of the tall mountain. Then ran back to the ship. To his suprise everyone was still sleeping. He went below deck and got some bread. A few minutes later after he had finished his meal. He decided to test out his swordsmanship. He went back to the place where he found his sword. He looked at the note and read the last part about a large creature attacking him. Then suddenly the light in the cave got brighter. Thomas turned around and found himself face to face with a gigantic flame atronach. Thoma smiled and slowly reached behind him. And removed his sword from its sheathe.
