behelit91 Posted September 1, 2018 Share Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) Hey Guys im new here, hope someone can help me. I have a big problem with mit HUD. My powerarmor HUD is to big i cant see my life and endurance.Many menus are displaced the green backround doesnt fit the text. I read a couple of threats but nothing helped i changed the resolution the fov and other things in the Fallout4prefs, in the dokumantery section aswell in the steamapp section but nothing changed at all. I can write what i want but in the game nothing changes.I installed a cpouple of mods but havent a problem with them yet.Sorry for my bad english btw. ^^ I play on a TV and the only Resolution i can choose to the desktop correct and not cut off is on 1600x1200, can this be a reason for the cut off pa hud? other games i have no problems to play i can try other resolutions there till i finde one that fits. But Falout didnt allow that i have a couple of options nothing fits really. i changed the resolution in the documents to 1600x1200 but nothing changed. I dont now how this works but i try to upload a screenshot or two to show exactly what i mean. EDIT: I played a little bit further and it seems every single menu is zoomed in. On the left side the green backgrounds are left from the texts and on the right side of course right. When i have text oder something else with a green background in the middel, the backround is always too large to both sides (look on the second screenshot). EDIT2!: I installed the game new and tested it. all is normal now but i only can play in little window mode, then i have set maximumwindow in the document from 0 to 1 now i have big window but now the backgrounds are wrong again so it seems to have to do with that. Question how can i get i big window now? So what can i do to zoom out the entire menu/hud stuff? Is there maybe a mod that changes my hud ? Thanks for every help you can give me. I didnt find a solution yet, and the thing with the green backgrounds i not too bad. i only want a fix for the power armor hud, but to use a mod will not fix the problem i think, the mod hud is then also to large and cut off. Def_Ui: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10654 and then along with that, i recommend this Def_UI Preset: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31723 ^^^ it makes the hud much smaller, but still very visible, so it is very nice imo.
